hey My grow room is in side my closet, the problem is, is that the temp ranges any where from 81 to 86 F and the humidity ranges from 40% to 51%. But the thing is, I dont have any plants or lights in there yet, how can I keep the temp down??

Like grouchy says, ventilation. You need to draw air in from a stable atmosphere and at a constant rate if perfecting condotions. Constant rates are hard to achieve due to heat issues, but if you stick to the correct lumens per square foot and have the correct ventilation you'll get on swimmingly.

Too many peiople just buy the most powerfull lamp for the buck thinking 'yield yield yield. You'll do far far better to buy the equipment that compliments the room size or grow area. Do your calculations and get the correct lumens and extractor rating. Not getting these correct from the start will give you endless head aches throughout the grow.

On a last note, get an extractor with 50% more capacity than you need. Standing in a grow room with increasing temperatures and the extractor at full volume is a helpless and frustrating feeling.

I can't stress how inportant Extractor and lumens calculations are. It's the backbone of any indoor grow.
