Hi - Nimbin, Byron, Bay, Lismore are the most fun in the north of NSW. Nimbin is great if you want to score. Beautiful beaches and lots of hippie markets. Check the net for lots of great wwoofing farms and locations.

When I have a moment I will wrote up a sticky for visitors coming to Australia.

It sounds like Confest might be your scene. As it is entirely run by voluntary labour, they would be glad of extra voluntary help. They have as yet to decide on a new site. You will need a tent or a van to sleep in. Also check on the Stickys for regular and one off alternative gatherings.

They don't actually pay any money for WOOFING, they just give you food and somewhere to sleep. You also have to pay a small registration fee to do WOOFING.

If you are comming for several months, and you are prepared to do seasonal picking work you might like to think about getting a van. This means you have somewhere to sleep at night. You can pick up cheap vans through E-bay or the Trading Post.

Melbourne easily has the best outdoor party scene in the Country. Byron definatly comes second though ;) If you need any more info or assistance dont hesitate to PM me!
