I think i am going to jail

Someone narced me out. The cops had drug dogs sniffed my car and they searched it and found almost 4 ounces of marijuana, and a hookah. I had found this marijuana in a farm. They said they wouldn't arrest me on that day and they said they would prolly get me on Monday. I think that is weird. I dont know what is going on. Im 18 so I think im fucked.

If its in one bag ya might have a case for "personal use" there. Depends on the state tho.

It counted as personal use in texas nearly a decade ago when a friend of mine got caught with the same amount.

In Calif, if you have a 'script, you are allowed to drive around with 4 oz. "prepared marijuana", or 6 immature plants or 3 plants in flowering, as far as the CHP is concerned.

If you didn't get arrested, that means that you'll have to wait to see if the D.A. decides to prosecute.

canada, as in, get the hell out of Amerika while you still can. Mexico might be a better option, as far as being able to stay goes. Canada will extradite you back if they find you, and they aren't too keen on people draft-dodging and law-running coming to their country.

 

Hey, Well im not arrested yet. They did contact me and they said they are waiting to see what the dryed weight of it is, becuase its fresh, and i was exagerating when i said 4 ounces it looks from 2.5 ounces to 3 ounces, so im hoping the dryed weight will be under 2. I live in South Dakota. And it was found in a plastic container so they know its personal use, they didnt question me about that. But I'll be arrested and be locked in jail until bail in 2-3 days. O well, im fucked.

 

If it's your first offense you are probably in the clear.

 

I did get prosecuted as a minor with possesion. I dont know if they look at that.

First of all, i don't remember who said "do not pass go do not collect $200", but whether or not you meant to be funny or not, that's mean. This person is in a bit of a predicerment (sp?)
