I heard on the Triple J news this morning that Melbourne has been tipped off for a terrorist attack.. it may or may not be confirmed by john Howard... i am getting creeped out by all these ads around about public transport (in Brisbane)...

The guy in the tape is definatley not an Australian, he pronounces Melbourne Mel-Born where as most Australians pronounce it Mel-Bin. So hopefully thats a good sign that he isnt already here. The tape made me consider, do you think it is possible for a government to make a fake warning tape? or even organize an attack to appear as if it were the work of terrorists?
yeah...we kinda touched on this topic in one of my creative writing classes... in general discussing many of the bin laden (possibly) "rip off" tapes... Organising the attack? well some ppl commented after 911 that that was exactly what took place... but i guess you can only weigh up the advantages and disadvantages of such a thing..Pretty horrible thing to do...but we are only proletarians after all..ay? (hehe) That's what i hate about knowing all this high culture stuff..it makes you aware of how stuck you are in life because of birth rights...bah! On topic (attacks in australia) i dont think we're far off having one (whoever actually does it) because it seems pretty inevitable, doesn't it... i guess that's why they are trying to keep us alert.
