We have a member who is age 17. We respect his advice on subjects he knows about. I agree with YOU. I feel that, IF you live on THIS planet, your opinion counts!

 

at least you get a voice to be considered not as important.. at my age you're expected to sit there and shut up... however logical your thinking may be or how good your idea is...

 

MattInVegas - When I glanced at your photo, I saw a resemblance to Ozzie Osbourne. Has anyone ever told you that?

 

If it just wouldn´t be so serious (I can remember that, now that you said that), I could wet myself laughing *lol*. You´re lucky anyhow, as I don´t think anyone here is expecting you to "just sit there and shut up".

 

I agree completely (feelingroovey)!! While certain older people can make me feel very inferior at times some of my best teachers and friends have been people no younger than 45! I also think that if it were not for them I would not know alot of what I consider my belifes and opinons. Both young and old have helped shape my outlook on many things..... I don't belive you can have one with out the other it's all about balance!

Absolutly!!! To me that quote sums everything up in a nutshell when it comes to the worlds problems... All problems ( to me! ) stem from peoples own need to control EVERYTHING!! around and be in or feel like they have power over not only their own life but whatever else they don't agree with in the world. I belive it has alot to do with conditioning and the idea that things as we are taught have to be this one specific way or else!... You know? When all you really need is love and the rest will take care of its self... Like I always say the ego must die before the spirit can truly take over.

 

Nobody respects my opinions... I wonder if its my face.

 

anyhow where does this age fascism come from,when is the end of youth and the beginning of oldness,who cares just do what you gotta do.Be content to be part of this experience,ride the rough times and glory in the good,try to love everyone, a point maybe worth mentioning wisdom may come through years of experience but my memorys so shot i cant recall sod all.
