I've been smoking for about 6 months now, but I still don't know how to take a resin hit from the bowl or carb. All I know how to do is scrape the pipe.
If you use a pipe there is usually alot of weed stuck in the bottom, and if you let the flame from a lighter get down in there (can be tricky, need to angle the lighter) and inhale that is a resin hit, dont recommend it as it tastes awful, but sometimes someone needs to take one for the team to de-clog the pipe, ecspecially if it hasnt been cleaned (like the one im talking about). Smoking resin however is different, if you can clean it out just put the sticky tar-like substance in whatever and smoke it. Never mix my weed with anything, but with resin it is usually wise to mix it with weed ecspecially if its dry, even tobacco if you fancy that. It tastes awful, but if you mix it, it isnt all that bad and will get you high because of the concentrated THC. Peace - J

just put the resin on a piece of paper or something, or, if you have more than one pipe, scape all the resin out, and put it in the other pipe for later. then, your pipe is clean, but youve still got the resin if you want it. personally, i only smoke resin when we're in a long drought or something. i just go buy more bud otherwise. i havent cleaned my pipe out in probably 6 months or so. the only time i clean that shit out is when i absolutely have to, cause the pipe is getting all clogged up or something.
resin hits are great when you run out of the ganj. they egt you pretty high. and opium resin doesnt taste bad at all.
well i pulled out the trusty old plastic knife today and scraped out my bong,What i usually do is use a different pipe for my resin sessions. It has a small screen and hits good. but i usually clean the creen so it hits better. but yeah toke long and slow but take it deep, you'll get a better hit off some good resin. bongresin you have to put in a coffee filter and squeeze all the water out. wrapping it in a paper towel and squeezin again , moving the towel to dryer areas and squeezing again. pretty soon you wont be able to squeeze anymore water out and it should burn decent- or dry it a few minutes in the sun after squeezing water out. im packin another bowl now, later.
