I think you have a right to be upset, even if you weren't PMS. If he said he would do it, only to claim poverty later, why did he say he'd do it in the first place? I am sorry you are feeling so bad.

    Hugs. As for me?

I just crushed up graham crackers, mixed in chocolate chips, and then put in some marshmellows and then nuked it and ate it with a spoon.

What do you think? ;) (I'm due like, today.)

sometimes they just don't take that shit seriously. have you been checked for cysts? once i had my cysts treated, i wasn't nearly so bad off. my friend also suffered form TERRIBLE clotting and once she had those treated she was much better.

I am at the very beginning of "Oh God, the . is going to start in a couple of weeks"...bloaty, craving chocolate like there was no tomorrow, a little crampy. My PmS can last for a couple of weeks before the period happens, and that can be a real bitch...I often only get a week a month when nothing is happening, then it is back to the LONG PMS time... :(

Yeah, I started 2 days again. I just ate a huge bunch of grapes, a oatmeal cookie, like 15 chocolate chips, and 4 triscuits. Not to mention I left my pads at my boyfriend's house so I've been using toilet paper! Grr. . .yeah, but you girlies that are having it REALLY bad, talk to the doctor about it. People don't seem to take the pain of periods seriously as it can be sometimes. I HOPE EVERYONE FEELS BETTER!!!!!!

i think it might be an effect of quitting nicotine perhaps? i dont know what to think, i've been feeling great for the past few months, especially the first couple of weeks after giving up smoking, but now i feel really down...whats wrong? oh and i still havent got my period!! :(

Ugghh, I've got a major dose PMS. It also doesn't help that my oldest baby, my 5 year old, started kindergarten yesterday. Can we say emotional breakdown? That's where I've been at for the past 2 weeks gearing myself up for all of this public school bit, and PMS on top of it.

I feel crummy in every way. :(

I'm sorry. My baby just started K, too. But she started 3 weeks ago, and missed all of last week, due to a really bad cold. So sending her yesterday was almost as hard as the first day. Does your baby have half day K? I think this is better. Sage gets home at 11:00 AM, so it isn't a long Kindergarten day at all.

Wow, are we starting to all cycle together like womyn in a commune or a dorm?

ZepplinA, I hope you are feeling better. You couldn't be pregnant, could you? I always felt REALLY massive PMS when I was first pregnant.

Peacelove, I feel bad your mama didn't beleive you were feeling that bad. Doesn't she remember period pain? Jeez, I let my girls stay home when they have really bad cramps.

Hugs, peace, love, Aleve and snacks for everyone!

I just started bleeding (finally, damn perimenopause is giving me LONG prodromal cycles) and now I have to be off of chocolate for a week or more, or I get killer migraines.

My baby has FULL day. I hate it. All of the schools around here have started doing the full-day, and I think it's way too much to expect out of 5 and 6 year olds. Granted, his teacher is wonderful, kind, loving, and makes it her priority to make sure that her students have fun while learning, and has expressed some distaste in how the schools are doing full-day kindergarten. She has taught for 32 years, and it's just been within the past 4 years that the school has done full-day.

So my baby goes from 8:20-2:00. Yesterday seemed to go more quickly, but I was also doing a lot of errand running to keep myself occupied, plus caring for the twins of course. So far today has just been crawling by.

I was actually dry-heaving this morning when I got up due to nerves. It doesn't help that my son punched someone at school on his first day. His teacher was really laid back about it, told me that it was the end of the day, she could tell he was tired, and the other boys were all rowdy, hitting one another. I guess, from what my son said, that two boys kept putting their fists up in his face, so he got upset and socked one of them. He said he was upset and had thought they were going to hit him, and that was why he did it. But still, of course I'm thinking geez, it's the first day of school and my son hauls off and punches someone. Granted, he felt threatened and he reacted, but it starts making me doubt what we're doing with him (as far as deciding to try public school first before making a decision down the line to possibly homeschool)

I realize it was the first day, that it was many of the children's first time ever having to be in a full-time school situation, and his teacher pre-warned us at orientation last week that it was going to be rough on the kids to start. But geez, last week before school actually started, on screening day, they freaking had to do a mandatory test from good old Bush himself. A required test, for kindergarten children? Talk about pressure from the start. :(

I don't know, I seem to be having a harder day today than I did yesterday. But yes, PMS is definitely at danger level high on top of it. ;)

i think it's more probably to see pigs flying than me being pregnant now. I'm feeling slightly better now but i wont go to yoga today, i cant face the world in this state...anything makes me cry, i dont know whats wrong with me..i've never felt like this before!!!!! i've suffered from pms before but not to this extent!

Oh, hippychick, I'm sorry your school has all day Kindergarten. That's the "School as free day care" contingent that got that done. All day is just too long for 5 year olds. I am sure some can handle it, but, damn, Sage is exhausted when she gets home at 11:00!

Speaking of which, I have to go out and see her off the bus.

I hope things get easier on your baby. Is your school one of those "choice" schools, where you can choose an other one, if you want? Maybe you can find one with a shorter program.

    Gotta go. Bus coming.

Hi KC...now, I haven't talked to anyone about it...I'm definitely perimenopausal, and I'm thinking that is what is causing it. My periods have never been pleasant (and I did talk to gynos in earliers years about it...even got ultrasound one time to check for cysts or cancer...all negative). It can be nasty to be bloaty most of the month (my . actually last about 7days, and the beginning is very heavy usually, but calms down after 2 days)...but I just kinda deal with it. The chocolate cravings are fun though... :)
