I need help with a craaaazy ex girlfriend.

My life has been helllllll for the last week cause my ex from like 5 months ago just started bothering me agian. For some strange reason, she doesnt comprehend the fact that i dont love her any more. Shes telling me i still love her but im to scared to say it, and she cries and she yells and cries and yells some more. She wont leave me alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I seriously at this point would rather shoot myself in the head than talk to her or see her agian. What should i do, it seems that nothing i do will make her leave me alone.

Take your own advice then. Not the shooting yourself part, just don't talk to her again. If she calls you, say "bye" and hang up. If she keeps calling, block her number. Block her IMs, do whatever you can, just keep away from her, and if she confronts you about it, just tell her, you don't even want to speak to her anymore, and walk away. She'll eventually figure out you're serious.

you must somehow convince her you have changed and no longer have whatever characteristic about you that she cannot let go off. then tell her you are not destined to be together and that forcing it to will make both of you unhappy.

 

I'd try to cut off all communication by any means possible.

Yeah, just tell her that you really don't love her anymore and that she gotta move on, maybe seek help (but say it in a nice way)... And if she doesn't get it tell her that you don't want to talk to her and if she just please stay away, and yeah as Hikaru Zero said, if she's really stupid cut her off totally... But try to be nice, or it might get worse

If not then there's always the good old witch test, throw her off a cliff and see if she falls or flies

Hey dude, for real...you need to tell her how you feel. And if she doesn't leave you alone after that, do what Hikaru said ---

You at least got to fill her in about how you feel, maybe for some odd reason she still thinks there's something between you two, and if she thinks so, all you're going to do is hurt her by just giving her the shaft without a heads up. If she doesn't get the hint after you tell her how you feel, then that becomes HER problem and HER problem only, and then do whatever you can to just avoid her.

You have to handle this with the most maturity you can possibly conceive at this point ---Tell her that you don't want to be with her, and that there is nothing for you two...even if you *think* there may be a possibility for you two in the future, DONT LET HER KNOW THAT or she won't stop harassing you. Don't be cruel, but be firm, and maybe a twinge harsh... She needs to wake up and see.

 

this is a good point... it's easy to sugar-coat things when the other person is hurting. make sure that she knows about your lack of feelings; be firm, clear and direct. it also helps to remain calm when you deal with her. if she can tell that you're really upset, she might just be satisfied with getting an emotional reaction out of you. she might think, "well, hey, at least passionate anger is passion..."

if you've already done that, avoid her like the plague. a few years ago, it was tricky getting the phone co to block numbers on a land-line, but with new technology it might be easier now. if you have a cell phone, there's usually a call restriction feature under your security settings. you can also block her on your instant messenger, and if she tries to talk to you under a different name, you can block anyone who isn't on your buddy list. make sure you don't give her power over you, though... don't take a different path between your classes, and don't let avoiding her disrupt your daily activities. if you do, she'll see that she still has an effect on you and is in your thoughts, even if it's in a negative way.

She does not get it, ill try getting a phone block on her and block her on aim, but for some reason i think that would make her feel like i love her more. No matter what i say she doesnt leave me alone. It fucking insane.

she probably thinks you still have feelings for her because you keep talking to her. if you didn't want anything to do with her, you would do just that... you wouldn't respond to her messages, take her calls, etc. since you're still responsive, it gives her some false hope.

she's crazy about you, and she wants to be able to talk to you. when you respond -- even when it's something negative like, "i don't love you" -- she probably sees it as positive... afterall, she feels that hearing negative things from you is better than not hearing anything at all. ultimately, you know that SHE isn't going to be the one to sever contact completely... so it's gotta be you, buddy.

i doubt that not giving her an opportunity to contact you would make her think you love her even more. it might make you appear as more of a challenge to her, and she might put more effort into contacting you, but eventually she'll get the message when she realizes you're serious. but if you don't cut off contact, it doesn't sound like she'll ever get it.

 

Even more effective than blocking her, just ACT apathetic.

Don't even say that you don't care, just say, "uh huh," "whatever," "alright, sure," "whatever floats your boat," etc. Not all the time, but ... you catch my drift, I'm sure.

 

Actually, I just had a better idea ... give her a link to this very thread. That might wake her up.
