I guess that they finally realized that this incident could cost them the 2008 election. I think their best move would be to back a democrat like Clinton next time which they'll probably end up doing.

Was President Bush Behind Katrina? Salt Lake City Deluge May Be Coming
    Soon

    Sept. 6, 2005
    By Sterling D. Allan
    http://greaterthings.com/News/daily/2005/09/06/6600916_Bush_behind_Katrina/

I could wax very long-winded in setting forth what I'm about to say.
A book could be written on the subject. However, instead I will try to
make this very brief, as I have other demands on my time, and I'm sure
you do as well. I will be setting forth the chapter headings, so to
speak, and let you fill in any particular chapters where you might not
already be familiar with the supportive concepts.

In the title of this piece I have already given you the conclusion:
President George W. Bush was behind hurricane Katrina.

I realize this will sound absolutely preposterous to most people. Most
people won't even read this far. They will see the title, and
completely dismiss this out of hand without going any further.

That is not who I'm addressing. I'm addressing those of you who
already have studied up on some of the premises, which most people have
not. For you, this conclusion is only one step away from what you
already have come to know to be true -- not fourteen steps, which it
will seem to those who have not awakened sufficiently to study these
    foundational premises.

Premise 1: There is an international conspiracy to establish a world
socialist order, which will subvert freedom and individual
responsibility, and place a heavy bureaucratic military state over
mankind, in an Orwellian like grip. "Big Brother," as it has been
aptly named, is ever increasing its grip. This conspiracy has been at
work for millennia, very methodically plotting their ascendancy. They
are social engineers, and honestly believe that they are smart enough
to control the entire planet with their scheme, usurping God, and
    enthroning Lucifer instead.

Premise 2: George W. Bush is a long-time member of this international
conspiracy, as have been most presidents of the United States in the
last century. I cite as sample evidence Dubya's well-known lifetime
membership since Yale in the order of the Skull and Bones. He is not
in a directorship role in the international conspiracy, but does follow
their orders and participate as is it is his blood-oath duty to do so.

Note: The relief effort we see botched at every turn in this disaster
is a function of the bureaucratic mentality that this cabal has
gradually inculcated into our social fabric over many decades, as
people have handed responsibility from themselves over into the hands
of agencies with their reams of red tape. Rather than use personal
initiative, people are waiting for orders from the chain of command,
which orders are hampered by layers of inefficiency. A solution for
reprieve, therefore, would be for people to take responsibility for
themselves once again -- for the displaced persons and the willing
hosts to just get together, for example, without the aid of the
government or large aid organizations that are likewise unfortunately
afflicted with the same bureaucratic bug. Such a streamlined response
is what I am trying to facilitate in launching Project Assimilate.

Premise 3: The attack on America on Sept. 11, 2001, was not merely a
terrorist plot from some Arab faction. Included in its masterminding
and execution were elements of this international cabal. For example,
those planes could not have been accurately navigated and flown by
novice pilots into pinpoint targets. The hijackers were just a ruse
and scapegoat to promote additional agendas. Those planes were flown
by remote-control under the direction of these aforementioned insiders.
The towers were felled by previously-planted, well executed demolition
charges, building 7 included. Those make of planes have that capacity.
George W. Bush was complicit in this attack, purposely delaying his
response to give time for enough planes to hit their targets. Later
that day, he flew to Offit Air Force Base in Nebraska, where Warren
Buffett, the second richest man in the world had been earlier that day
on a pre-scheduled event, to which had been invited Ann Tatlock, whose
office space in the second tower had received a direct hit by the
second plane. That attack marks a turning point in the U.S. civilian
psyche, turning them more to fear and a willingness to give up more
freedoms for greater government oversight, in the name of protection
and safety, which is a farce, as the fox is guarding the chicken coop.

Note: The delayed response of President Bush in the Katrina disaster
is likewise most probably not just a function of ineptness, but is
calculated. I've been watching his face on the various episodes I've
seen on national television, and he is not responding as a normal human
being. He is almost detached from a sense of empathy for the
tremendous loss there. It almost seems like he's laughing, not taking
it seriously. Sure, he's putting on an act of showing up and making
placating statements, but missing is a real soul connection with the
depth of suffering taking place, at least not in the footage I've seen.
It reminds me of watching recordings of his face during the many
minutes he sat at Booker Elementary school after he had been told a
second plane had hit the towers, and that America was under attack.
Except there, at least you see some moments when there is this look of
"oh, my God, what have I done!", and not, "these people are such
idiots, they'll believe anything." If you've not done so, I would
recommend that you carefully watch that excerpt as he sits there for
those dozen or so minutes. Watch the range of emotions that cross his
face. It is incomprehensible to me that with all the modern technology
available to us, that the President of the United States would not have
better information than what most Americans had by watching their
televisions. What did most American's do? They dropped everything to
watch the unfolding saga. Can you possibly believe that the President
of the United States, at such a time, would proceed with his planned
schedule so he wouldn't frighten a few elementary school children, when
the could have politely been told that he had something come up? They
wouldn't have been frightened, maybe possibly a little disappointed.
If you have bought that excuse, I really hope you think again, because
it is ludicrous in the extreme. I submit to you, that the delay in
response to the Katrina disaster was similarly calculated.

I received the following input today:

There were so many mistakes that one has to think there was a
conspiracy! That many people, in high places, couldn't make that many
    mistakes and still deserve to have those jobs! Fleets of busses unused;
ships in the harbor, just waiting for the command to go and help. Too
much to be believable as just bungling. (J.E.; Sept. 5, 2005)

Premise 4: This conspiracy, of which the U.S. black-ops serve as the
militarized bully-muscle, has obtained high-level technology
intelligence over the decades from a faction of extra-terrestrial
beings who also have a repugnance toward freedom and individual
responsibility, as that impairs their ability to control the minds of
the masses. Some of that technology includes anti-gravity craft as
well as super-powerful energy devices, which they have been keeping
from civilians, and which account for many of the UFO sightings, which
are dismissed as a matter of policy. Whether or not you believe in the
extra-terrestrial influence, the fact remains that man has developed
such capabilities. Included in that arsenal of ultra-high technology,
is weather modification. Cloud seeding for precipitation promotion or
diminishment is a tiny portion of what man has learned to do. For some
time now, they have been able to manipulate the jet stream and target
earth quakes, for example. To create the monster hurricane, they could
have diverted cloud cover over the right portion of the Gulf waters,
causing them to become very hot from the sun's exposure, thus fuelling
and directing the powerful hurricane that ensued.

Conclusion: The same cabal that brought us 911 also brought us Katrina,
with the purpose of implementing yet more bureaucratic measures, moving
us that much closer to their dream of a dictatorship of the proletariat
-- i.e. enslavement in the name of democracy, so that in name we think
we are free, but for every intent and purpose we are under the rule of
this elitist oligarchy that knows best -- so it thinks. And Bush is
right there following orders of those he answers to in that dark
conspiracy, knowingly helping them accomplish their objectives. The
delays at every turn stem from a system trained to follow orders --
orders which ultimately end up at a Commander-in-Chief who is not truly
interested in bringing relief to those who have been afflicted, as he
was in on the engineering of their affliction in the first place.

    What Comes Next:

Here I wax quite a bit speculative, but not without good reasons. I
certainly don't have an inside scoop on the planning meetings of this
international conspiracy. However, I do mix with a crowd of people
gifted with prophetic insight. Certainly I've seen my share of failed
predictions, some of which are due to the fact that the predicted
outcome was averted based on people changing the course they were on.
Some probable futures are more likely than others.

One prophetic scenario that I have believed for a long time, and for
which I only find more substantiation as time goes on, not less, is
that the Wasatch Front in Utah -- spanning from Ogden down to
Santaquin, with Salt Lake City metropolitan area to the North, and the
Provo/Orem metropolitan area to the south -- will be hit with a massive
and sudden deluge from an underground river that will be diverted
overland through a massive earthquake. This valley used to be filled
with some 500 feet of water in what used to be Lake Bonneville (which
would pretty well consume every dwelling now in place). And a few
thousand years before that, it was filled 500 feet yet deeper in what
was called Gosuite Lake, which covered 25,000 square miles. The
shorelines of both of these lakes are still visible along the foothills
of the mountains that surround the Wasatch Front valleys.

Lake Uinta, which was most likely formed from the receding of the
Noatic flood, carved the Grand Canyon in a matter of weeks when it
drained by a cataclysm. The Canyon going up through Idaho and Oregon,
into the Pacific Ocean, was carved by Lake Bonneville in a matter of a
few weeks when it drained. The cataclysm that drained Lake Bonneville,
also opened up an underground channel for the massive river that fed
    it.

Think about it. The Great Salt Lake is a dead body of water, like the
Dead Sea, with no outlet to the sea. Hence the saltiness and minerals.
It's fluctuating shoreline is a function of today's climate and river
pattern. A dozen or so years ago, Governor Bangerter was proposing the
construction of a massive pump system when the lake was rising and
    flooding some roads and properties.

Today's Great Salt Lake is kept at its level by a balance of
evaporation on the "outlet" end, and the small flow of water that comes
into it from the Jordan River (which is about 20 feet wide near where I
live; I can throw a rock across it, no problem). A huge and constant
influx of water would have been required to keep such bodies of water
filled long enough to etch such lasting marks along their rim -- 500
and 1000 feet above its present level, nearly filling the entire state
with water, and filling portions of surrounding states. These two
previous bodies of water did not gradually drop, they dropped
    cataclysmically.

Likewise, a subsequent cataclysm could block that underground river,
bringing it overland once again. Part of the deluge of the valley that
many have seen in vision could also be a result of some displacement of
the Great Salt Lake, which is all that is presently left of Lake
Bonneville. A follow-up earthquake will then return the river
underground and drain the flood, but not after wreaking a great deal of
    purifying havok.

Like New Orleans, those who have built in this area are gambling with
nature. This New Orleans flood we are beholding today was a disaster
waiting to happen -- not if but when. Everyone knew that. So also is
the Wasatch Front in Utah. It is situated on one of the larger fault
lines on the planet, far over due for a "big one." What few realize,
though, is that not only will the ground shake, but the waters will
    return.

    When?

When will this happen? I don't know. But I do believe it is a matter
of if, not when. I also will say that I believe that the cabal that
brought us 911 and Katrina will be behind this one as well, triggering
the causative earthquake, but that God will be in the draining that
takes place, lest it be consumed.

    Biblical Prophecy

Is this prophesied in the Bible?

    Consider the following two passages:

    Isaiah 28:1-4 (see commentary)

28:1 Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim [what
Mormons cite as their lineage], whose glorious beauty is a fading
flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are
overcome with wine! [Metaphorical wine reflecting
    spiritual/intellectual hypothermia.]

28:2 Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest
of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters
overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand.

28:3 The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden
    under feet:

28:4 And the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley,
    shall be a fading flower, and as the hasty fruit before the summer;
which when he that looketh upon it seeth, while it is yet in his hand
    he eateth it up.

    Revelation 12:15,16

12:15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the
woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

12:16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth,
and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

    Can it Be Averted?

It seems like God has gone through a lot of trouble to set this one up,
only to have it be thwarted by repentance! I'm being a bit sardonic,
but I guess what I'm saying is that yes, I do believe we could turn
this away. Jonah and Ninevah show us that it can happen. But the
likelihood of doing so in this case is slim, as slim as New Orleans,
prior to last week, cleaning up their act and doing something about
their city-below sea level next to the sea. Now we can say "Duh!" But
don't say that too loudly in the ears of Mormon in Utah about this
    situation, they might wake up.

    Building Good Karma

One thing that is a high mark for Utah Valley is the volunteerism they
have been exhibiting in response to Katrina. I attended a Red Cross
training session yesterday in which there were approximately 500 people
in attendance, and that was one of several sessions that day, being the
second day of such training sessions for people wanting to volunteer to
help. Despite the bureaucratic red tape that is bogging everything
down, there is a lot of spontaneous service and movement taking place.

I find it beyond ironic that Utah's guests from Katrina's disaster are
being put up in Camp Williams, fifteen minutes from my house. It is
situated between the Salt Lake and Utah Valleys on the brink of what
appears to have been an ancient dike or land bridge or natural sandbar
between these two huge valleys. Carved down between the narrow
passage, right next to this Army Reserve camp, is the Jordan River.

The bureaucracy is so strong in Camp Williams that a volunteer that
wanted to get a chair for an elderly gentleman to use in the shower,
was told she would have to fill out a form to request the chair, and he
would have to clear it with his supervisors. While the camp is a step
up from the Astrodome hell they came from, it still closely resembles a
concentration camp, both in appearance and in treatment.

I can't help but think that the way that the Mormons handle this
situation will turn around and reflect on how they are treated in turn
when this valley is the victim of a massive cataclysm. Will they
succumb to the bureaucracy, or will they begin thinking for themselves
and take responsibility for their own salvation, rather than just
lock-stepping it behind the President and the Prophet.

I would think that the severity of what could happen in the Utah deluge
scenario has a wide range, from minimal to maximal, and that the extent
to which Utah's awaken and respond to the situation at hand will in
part effect the severity of what is coming here.

I'm all for the repentance clause. I like warm showers. The community
I'm in would probably not fare very well in the deluge scenario. If it
stays above water, it will still be cut off from stores and farms.
Hardly anything to loot, even if it wanted to.

Eagle Mountain, situated behind Utah Lake, has as its slogan: "Utah's
New Frontier." I add: "Frontier of Urban Sprawl." That 's about all
that is frontier about it right now. But with Lake Bonneville Jr., it
would indeed become a frontier, perhaps even a large island, locked in
by water on all sides, with just a few antelope and sage grass on which
to survive -- oh, and Camp Williams: Utah's National Guard, bringing
big brother to a neighborhood near you.

Maybe, after that, America will wake up and say "no more." Maybe then
they will throw off the chains of servitude to the "just following
orders" mentality, and begin to think for themselves, each one, and
take responsibility for their own decisions and actions, and stop suing
everyone else for what is wrong with their lives, and stop begging at
the trough of government paternalism to have the government bureaucracy
take care of any problems, instead of good human volunteerism without
the red tape. Maybe then they will take a good hard look at the demise
of our morals, and of our humanity. Maybe then they will turn to God
to receive a new heart, and let heaven's goodness flow through them.

If that is what it takes to bring heaven on earth, I guess I can do
without warm showers for a while. I really do believe, though, that we
don't have to go through the worst case scenario in order to get there.
We can learn by precept to a large extent -- and not just by hard
experience. The ratio of those two will be up to us.

Wake up now, and learn by precept, or go through hard times, and learn
by experience. Which will we prefer, and to what extent?

I'd be curious to ask a person from New Orleans right now what they
would do differently if they could do it over.

    Yeah, good old Bush. He's like Fonzie. "I was wr..wr...wrrr. I was wrr..wrrro..." :)

(the older folks here may remember that Happy Days episode when Richie couldn't get Fonzie to say he was wrong.)

Man, this administration has a delayed reaction. Delayed on 911, delayed on Katrina, Cheney surfacing about a week after the disaster.

Hey, great job Cheney. The guy who last election said he would keep us all safe and claimed that the other party didn't know how to protect us. Great how he crawled under a rock during the heat of the disaster.
