I am planning on volunteering in Africa in July, initially I had it all set for Kenya. My dad however was talking to a friend who has visitied each places many times, and she said that kenya can be dangerous, and it would be better for me to visit ghana. I have never heard of kenya being very dangerous as she had proclaimed..but now I am a bit curious, and a bit weary...what do you all think?
Ghana and Kenya are both very dangerous places.... I myself am from zimbabwe but thats another story. Anyway a good friend of mine has lived in both Ghana and Kenya and she said that Ghana was so dangerous right now the white people don't even leave there homes to go shopping.... But kenya does seem safer (she spent 4 weeks there this summer) but nevertheless it is africa and thus has an element of danger
