First time growing - i need help!

Hey everyone, i just started growing like 2 weeks ago, in my basement, under flourecent lights, for 12 on, 12 off. I water them about 2 times a day. Like i said, i started about 2ish weeks ago, and they have grown about 4 inches, and the first 2 weed leafs sarted growing..... then thats it... its not growing anymore... it just stopped.

Its not dead or anything, its still green... and all... but its just staying the same height and not moving up anymore. They have fallen over a couple times, so i staked them, and they are still alive and all.

Am I being impatient, or am I doing something wrong, or not enough? Please help! Thanks ^__^

 

Could be a lot of things.
I think you're watering too often (2wice/day) Ideally you should only be watering every few days. What kind of containers are they in?
Or
maybe the light is too far away. Do you keep the light 2" above th plant tops?
You also need an oscillating fan for stem strength.
Do you have ventilation? Marijuana needs a contant supply of fresh air.
Also, now is the time to start using nute's, unless you're using pre-ferted potting soil. Start out mild (!/4 strength).

 

wow... 2 inches above the plant? isnt that a lil close?

And... they are in a small container, probably about 4 and a half inches tall, and a lil over 3 and a half inches wide each way around (square).

Also, what are nutes? Lol... sorry, this is my first time... i went into this, growing them like any other plant... i guess its more complex then that

 

nutes=nutrients. and since you're using flourescents you won't burn ur plants up by having them that close.

 

well where do i get "nutrients"... and ive read somewhere that u shudnt be using shit like miracle grow or anything like that for indoor plants...

 

how're u growin at age 15? you're parents dont mind?

 

YOU NEED NUTRIENTS, simply put. a 12 on/off cycle is gonna make them bud pretty quick, but you won't get as much out of it as you would if you let it veg (24 hour) to about a foot and a half, or two feet. Nutrients will let the plant grow.

 

ok my question still aint answered... where do i get these magical nutrients?


And to the question how im growin at 15... i pretty much live in my basement, and i got a section in my room that is closed off, and i grow in there... im sure they know im growing shit in there, but just dont do anything about it... and they work from 6:30am to 8:30pm... so its not like they are home enough to enforce punishment for anything =)

You need to get out more often. Maybe ask your parents to take you to market/shopping with them someday.
Nutrients are sold in most markets, variety stores, Wal-mart, K-mart, garden shops, nurseries, grow shops and you can order them over the internet.

You know if you got busted your parents could lose everything, go to jail and you'd end up in a foster home.
