communism, well.... i would say that yes i am communist! I totaly agree with the fact that in theory it is good, but when put out, not so good. Humans are naturally power hungery, and this type of government would never work. But even saying government is not right, as it is a way of life, and being a communist government is a complete contradiction. How can it work is everyone is equal and you still have government. What i say is that we buy some land and put an add up to call communists, this way nobody would oppose and it might just work out. so who wants to come live in a totaly communist area with me?
I think China is the best example of communist success. The natural drive to improve ones self forced the government to allow capitist activity. In the last 25 years, China haas gone from a struggling, poor nation to a rich world power. Russia on the other hand, failed because Reagen forced them into bankruptcy by funding small forces fighting in the middle east. That's back when we gave money to the Taliban (sp?). Now we are being driven into the same situation by the "terrorist". The point is: Success does not depend on the type of government, but the support of the people.

Even though we are supposedly free in this country the presidents don't give us a choice if we want to go to war or not, and that's worse than what amount of money we get, and what job we get. Maybe if communism, capitalism, fascism, socialism, racism, and all the other isms were to be destroyed the world would be a much better place to live in. Not having to do whatever someone says, and just being free. I know that the song "Imagine" is an ode to the perfect world. But me and my friend think that it was a tribute to communism, because communism is always being put down because of dictators, but that is only because people are too power hungry and when they get the power they want they take advantage of their authority, and everything ends up in shit, for example Cuba, but that's just my opinion, if you want to say innapropriate things to me like fag, dick, or idiot, I don't wanna hear it. Cuba is a terrible place to live. The Cuban State maintains a powerful cohercve security apparatus. There is no freedon to say: open a restaurant or gallery or to own your own home. People leave there all the time for a better opportunity.

Capitalism just allows you to profit off of other peoples labor. China adopted capitalism in only their largest cities because they recognized it'd be better for the economy in those larger cities... you cant be capitalist and communist at the same time... its just further proof that china never had intentions of setting up a communist government, and only talked of communism to gain the poor workers trust only to shit on them. China isnt an example of communism at all. the USSR failed for many reasons, not just because of Reagen.... the biggest reason of course is the rise of stalin... when the people got rid of Lenin only to exchange him with a man that is in no way better than him... the turning point was when the USSR joined the war.... t he people got pissed at lenin, and stalin was put in power. what caused Lenin to go to war (which he previously said he'd never do).... american money, of course... n ot just for him but for his country.
according to communism Castro should have gaven his power up long ago, which he never did... its just another dictatorship that caters to whatever the fuck castro is thinking.

the ideals of communism were the better but the application of these concepts sucked totally and made some bullshit . So i guess capitalism is the less worse system.
Communism has far more potential than capitalism that's is for sure, capitalism doesn't work and never will, socialism is the only way to true democracy though... Communism has always led to abuse of power and dictatorship by the state, capitialism is about being dictated to by the rich, much the same in many respects. What you need is a socialism where no-one holds power based on wealth, everyone must be accountable to each other and every employee of a company must be entitled to there say in the runnng and managing of that producer. Produce is about need, not money, we currently produce in order to make money, so we produce things of no use and sell them though whatever means possible, permanently influencing one another to needlessly buy so we are better off... it's all completely insane. people get communism and stalinism too easily mixed up. too many people think that communism goes hand in hand with revolution. That is why many commies now go under the name of marxism. In russia, too much power was given to the communist party, which was a mistake and caused stalins rise to ultimate power. Many people say it cant work, but now we have a working model. Venezuala. They are fast on their way to their own democratic version of communism with chavez at the front and a happy working populus. The nationalised oil industry is doing well and venezuala have increasing wealth, which is being spread out among the people. It took no revolution for chavez to get in. It took a ballot. The whole venzualan sysytem works better, with recall and nationalisatuion, and if people based their "communism" on that, then sure, it would work.
