    I've had Veni Vidi Vicious for a while but never really listened to it.. and now I can't stop! any other fans?

    Veni vidi vicious is the best thing they did I think. I like some songs of them, the ones with a very nice rock 'n roll atmosphere.

    Too bad for you..

    What you say here is essential ... personnaly i like The Hives but yeah i think the same as you ... there's something missing to makes them great... and it's nearly always that with all those modern records 25 % of the records that i buy are from the last 5 years but... something miss...there's talent but no more miracles

    as are The Vines (sometimes) and The White Stripes... but there's obviously many many many more good and better bands, you know that.

    well they are playing into the image of being a garage band, so its really not that strange...people have been doing that for a long time.

    point is, new music nowhere near as good as 90s, 70s, 60s, and 50s
