Cutting off your finger question?

One of my workers is like captn howdy off the strangeland movie and has even more metal in his face, today he said he wants to cut off his pinkie finger and somehow make a necklace and wear it around his neck....what ya think of this. Should I help him out on his quest, would I be commiting a crime if I did it,like I give a fuck, but what ya think?

 

Don't do it, if he bleeds to death its murder and if he ends up in the hospital to stop the bleeding it can still be a serious charge.

 

Rest easy, hes a plan to cotorize(sp) it as soon as its whacked off, we have been kicking around the best way, saw,snippers, sharp chisel and heavy hammer,ect....Im just worried about him missing work for a few days.

creepy as fuck, I'd avoid it. Just say you dont' wanna get your ass tossed in jail - he can mutilate himself all he wants legally, but you can't help out. Just like it's ok to commit suicide (legally that is), but assisted gets you jail time

reminds me of a movie.. the last scene in Four Rooms (i think that was the name of it) ... the bet was that if this dude could light his lighter ten times in a row he would win his friend's awesome car. and if he lost he would get his pinky cut off... they invited the bellhop to do the deed if he lost and get paid $1000. hehe, twas a craaaazy movie. But he reverts back to some other flick that involves a drug runner on a small boat who gets lost and starts cutting off body parts and eating them to stay alive, my friend and worker is a bit on the dark side but a good fellow...

 

EVen with the blood flow slowed there's still shock...I dont care how many piercings or tattoos a person has...losing a finger is still losing a finger.

well, technically amputation should be done by a doc in my opinion, but there's guys out there that'll do it for ya - just go to bme and search for amputee, lots of stories - not the mod for me though, i'll stick with tattooin

5. if you really want to do it say it's for religious practices and have a doctor do it prefferably in california, you sign enough waivers and you'll probably be able to find one....

 

I say, trip on acid, find out why this guy really wants to do this life, reality, consiousness and fingure, and then cut the damn fingure off if it's going to help him spiritually, mentally or emotionally. You must trip first though. I'm not experienced and I believe in it, but I guess I'm also not experienced in chemistry, but I still believe in the atom bomb.
