what do you do for a living?

Need help I don`t know what I will work with in the future...

sorry for my bad english...

 

I work in a mail room. Just waiting for my turn to climb the career ladder. But while I'm there, I am determined to be the best mail clerk I can be. If you put your all in whatever you do, you never have the feeling of being inadequate.(At least this is what I have found in my experience.)

 

I've been self-employed for more than thirty years. I am technical illustrator specializing in patent drawings. I work from my home/office studio. I worked for "the man" a few times, but it constantly drained the life out of me. My job is 10 feet from my bed. I have about 60 clients and have only met a few of them. 99% of my projects are digital and virtual. I love my job, make decent bread and I'm proud of my work.

 

I quit jobs.

im unemployed after doing a sucession of dead end jobs where i got bullied by bosses and work colleagues.Thank god i dont need the money due to my life style and frugal living and financialy sound investments,so from now on im going to do what i want to do and the only reason i can see to go back to work is to meet new people especially those of the female persuasion.
give up all ambition and become a happy slacker, its the only way.

 

at the moment i am working not to work ......man stoned again .

Was an RN for lots of years - till my bad lung went worse on me - now I live on your tax money - distributed by the VA - loved being a nurse - did not hurt many people and felt like I helped a few - money was OK and you could work anywhere.

 

I play, and teach, the stock market.

 

I used to be an adolescent treatment worker with Child and Family Services. Also worked in gov. run group homes. Not a gratifying job at all, so I packed it in. Moved to Ontario (Canada) and worked with my husband(now my ex) in his business running a home renovation company. Man was that tough work...gutting old homes completely..nasty business it was. Inhaled so much crap i.e. plaster mice, shit, bat shit, wood and more. Needless to say I now have C.O.P.D. (notice how I don't blame smoking..LOL) Anyhow I now live on a disability pension..quite degrading. So get yourself a good education and try and find something that you really enjoy doing, you will benefit so much more if you do that. GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!!!!
