Razorlight... Saw em play live last week... they know how to fucking rock a bit and get a crowd going... Unfortunately was utterly pissing down and we all got totally fucking soaked... then had to wait ages to get home... but twas a good fucking night and rate them as a good band... Just thought I'd share that... Fly...
i love razorlight thier set on live8 was totally amazing .......you dont get bands like you used to but i think razorlight are really good

And so are tha majority of bands around these days... what are going to do?... mope around and say "Oh I wish I was alive when [insert name of band here] were still around and playing live"?... eh?... get over it or invent time travel... Or... and this is where I'm prepared to be really controversial... get out and go to see bands that are playing music now?... And what is this obsession that people have with originality?... the twin obsessions that have driven culture from the twentieth century onwards have been originality and youth... it is about time that we looked beyond both of them... To go back to the point I was making, the culture od western society is dominated by this pressure to be original... if you examine the art or music of other cultures, they don't have that pressure because they use traditional forms of expression that are passed on from generation to generation... We have also made a link between popular music and the youth... the idea that rock 'n' roll can only be made by young people... Fly...
i dislike them ... alot. i dont think they even deserve fame they play like a college band and that singer trying to be all cool when (at queen hyde park) he started on about the 3 rules of rock and roll, in my opinion they cant carry it, every song sounds the same AND I WAS BLOODY GLAD THAT I SWORE AT THEM WHEN I SAW THEM IN BARNES WALKING AWAY FROM OLYMPIC STUDIOS!!!
hehe no probs- they walked along and they litterally said hey we are razorlight what do you think of the new album and i said ''fuk off and listen to the beatles's (what came to mind!) stuff if you want influence!''
Oh come on... show me a band that is able to create entirely original music without any influeneces and i'll eat my own shit... Fly...
