    What's a spartan?

  13. if it's what I think you are talking about
not entry level, also not the serious alan turing type crypto I want to end up doing before I die, that leads more to the hiding path, less to the path of seeking

oh the irony that my hero so cheapened the profession that I so desperatly wish to follow....

    computers suck....

  14. compulsory homosexuality, massivly good soldiers 300 of them held the whole persian army, sleep on rock slabs, train to be a soldier from age 5......

not a good description, not a complete one, but it's an idea.....

well, i went to a meeting CES was holding for coop students at my school a lil while ago, and they said they do hire entry level. though if yer looking to get into the math side of things youll need a masters. bsc for the computers side.

im sure its like that just about anywhere.

what kind of edumacation you got/plan on getting?

    Spartan may refer to:

    See also Sparta (disambiguation).

  20. well I need to get something high in math ( a phd would be optimum, but is improbable) to really be able to do the crap I want to be able to do, the real problem is that I need a more structured environment than college or a completly unstructured enviroment to learn, unfortunatly most college classes sit in that grey zone that is absolutly the worst place for me I listen to the lectures and things, absorb the information, but unless I think the assignment is funn and in affect do it immediatly I just forget about it

that whole lack of a support system really makes it hard for me to do the classes

so I was looking at programs the navy has to do classes while you are actually in the service and that looked as though it might be very promising, especially since I'd be taking classes that would be furthering my skills in the field I was in so I'd have better chances at getting them I should think (although the navy didn't buy a submarine design from lockheed martin because "submarines don't look like that" so how logical can these folk be?)
