I spent three glorious years in Nottingham... expect it's all changed since I was there... ah, it used to be all fields round here... sigh...

Nottingham is my home city, but I travelled around a bit and left there for good 5 years ago. It has changed, especially the crime etc.

 

Yeah.....back in 96-98 Notts was a good ol' city...bit of a shithole now tho' :H

 

I went there once. There was an unfriendly woman. I cried.

rock city has some good stuff on in nottingham.

Oddly enough, I've never been dumped. Don't understand why. Saw Trail of Dead at Rockcity, it's quite a nice place. Hmm

 

i take that back.................just looked at the line up at rock city and its donkey. although they do have some good stuff somtimes.
theres a good punk venue in a big pub there, but im fucked if i can remember what its called. and what about all the underground caves there, i think thats amazing, go n explore them, i would.
theyll be loads of free partys round nottingham too, i would have thought.

 

Used to be pubs with bands. Avoid the City Centre at w/ends, full of white shirted blokes, and girls with mini skirts.

 

but on the plus side.....the women in Notts pretty much outnumber the men 2-1

I used to go to Rock City every Saturday night (alternative night) and some Friday nights (rock night). Was great. That was about 18 years ago though

I still have to go back there every so often, having relatives there. Will be there for New Year.

 

Thata what I used to hear, but I always put that down to a load of old widows, women live longer than men.
