    Flagstones count words I’ll say

Regretful responses of bitterness flowing from mouth

We break and crash satisfied love

    Throw it to southern heaven

    But no-this is surely hell.

    On the journey, perfect scenery

Arrival at the heart of all untruths

    Loss of God.

    Turn down his voice

Nothing more than ridiculous repetitive long songs

    No one listening.

This wasn’t what I had in mind

    Verbal warfare

On battle fields of jealousy and strangers not what they seem

    Double were our sins

Then anything that makes the news

    When we betrayed loyalty.

Bound to be a love that we would hate.

    In him I found nothing.

But I stay, because it’s beautiful

    The end timidly unravels
