I hate cops. I hate what I have to deal with now. And I hate that there go 2 of my favorite things into the police's evidence files. So tuesday, I got a new bowl, a really cool one, too. Cost me $40. So OF COURSE I wanted show it to my buddy Kortney when I saw her Friday. I had an hour and a half to get to LCCC, so I said we should test it out, but since we both were in different cars, were going different places, gas is expensive, etc, etc, it seemed best to smoke at Sherod Park. I've smoked there a thousand times and nothing ever happened, and this was gonna be quick, so I wasn't worried. I took ONE hit of the bowl, passed it, then we noticeed a cop looking at our liscence plates and talking on his radio-thing. Not knowing what it was, we just hid the illegal shit. Then the cop came to my window and asked if we were smoking marijuana. "No." "Then why am I getting a whiff of it?" "I don't know" "So do you mind if I search your car?" I said I wanted my mom there (a delay, at least) but he said I had no choice cuz the smell was probable cause. I gave up the pot hoping that would satisfy him and he wouldn't continue with the search. NO LUCK. Cop said I should clean my car- hahahaha PIG, you have to stick your hand in my shit if you wanna fuck me over! He grabbed my keif box and just threw it back under the seat (at least I got away with that one), but then found my new piece, freshly packed. And he knew it was freshly packed. At first I tried to say I didn't know where it came from- then maybe I could just say someone was in my car and didn't tell me they put it there. But then the pig starts threatening Kortney, so I took full responsibility for everything. They took me to the station and handcuffed me to a bar for an hour while they called my mom and made her leave work to come get me. Needless to say, she was PISSED! When she got there, they took me in a room with her and showed her my bowl and bag. He even explained what it all was to her as if she didn't know. Said I might not be able to do PSEO anymore, and I might not be able to get financial aid for college. If that happens, then this is RUINING MY LIFE cuz I can't afford college and neither can my mom (teaching salaries suck) and I CAN'T go back to VHS. NOOOO! I could even be on probation with random drug testing until after I turn 18 or lose my liscence, damnit, cuz I have a 4th degree misdemeanor now. So they released me to my mom, then HELL STARTED. Anyone who knows me knows my mom is the type to punish you worse than the police because she tries too hard not to be her parents (they didn't give a shit what she did). So I'm not allowed to go to my classes at LCCC, can't drive to VHS, can't drive to work. Don't have a phone anymore. After a week, I can drive ONLY to LCCC. She drove from VHS to there to see how many miles, so I get about 20.5 miles to get there everyday, and she'll check my odometer daily to make sure. I can have my phone off for emergency use only in two weeks. And I am grounded even longer cuz I was gonna be freed today, but then this shit happens. And it's all cuz some asshole decided they would be a good samaritan and call the cops about cars speeding.
That sucks man... I am sorry to hear all of that... Its crazy how this world works.. A cop can kill anyone they want to, and make up some BS story about how they were a "threat" and get away clean... but if you smoke a little bit of God given herb then you are going to hell and you are a bad person... isnt that fucked up? this isnt america the free... we need to take our country back.
This is why they say the marijuana laws is what is causing the crime, not the marijuana.... Im so sorry this happend... =( I hope things will turn out better for you in the future...
The cops told me the same bullshit about losing funding for college and revoking my lisence. Yeah it can happen, but if this is your first offense you'll probably get PTI or something similar. Don't stress about that unless you hear otherwise from the courts. Aren't the pigs assholes? They searched me illegally and didn't read me my rights when I was arrested. They threatened to send me to jail if I didn't cooperate by answering questions even after I said I wanted my parents there. They're such bastards. I'm really sorry that happened to you, I completely know how much it sucks. It'll pass, it gets better eventually. I promise.
