what are your favourite autumn inspired crafts? i'm feeling all seasonal with the leaves changing colours...
this is when I get out and shoot the "family and friends winter holiday pix." the sky is at it's best blues and mountain meadows still have some flowers and the aspens will turn soon. What I need to do is come up with new ways to use the images for some family members! Everyone has gotten art pix for several years now, but I don't want to put them on something silly like a coffee mug. I also turn to fall gardening (a short-lived experiment here as snow can be falling by late Sept.)
you could try putting a really funky cool frame around the pictures... paint them yourself! or, if your family and friends are into technology, you could set up an online photobook, and people can leave comments, and tell you how awesome your pictures are, drumminmama! autumn crafts i do are knitting and crocheting hats, scarfs, sweaters, socks... anything that'll keep a person warm in the chilly months ahead!
ohh i love fall!! im so much more of a cold weather person than warm!! neways, i love to do gourds as well, me and my mamaw do them this time of year, i love to make nething using the beautiful colord leaves outside, like book pressing and such ohh i just love fall!
Down here in Alabama it still seems like summer...its been a warm year, we can still go swimming and not get too chilly. Once it does start to cool off though, I like to start baking sweets and other comfort foods. Its just too hot during the summer to turn on the oven...it heats up the entire house. I also start making gifts for Christmas presents...scarves, etc. The past few winters have been very mild, Im anticipating a cold one soon...
yeh the frame idea could be kewl...u could stick like autumn leaves and pinecones and things on it...or indeed paint em....lol
I think my tastes would clash with my entire family. thinking about creating screen savers this fall. my fam is WAY into technology: www.particleman.com
I looked over that site..and now I feel as though I know those people...lots of pics of everything. One person stood out...the fiery redhead wearing tie dye
tell me more about this gourd thing? i was looking for artificial sinew online and saw something about pine needle wrapped rims for gourds, but couldnt find anything on google about how to do them.
