Windows log on/off error

    I have a brand new Windows system and have encountered an error in which when I log onto a user account either booted normally or booted in safe mode will flash the desktop and then log off to the login menu.

    Now I just kinda feel dumb...
    In sort off a daze after a long nite of work that perhaps i should use not the recovery console but windows repair....
