i dont know about you, but it's getting harder and harder to find the kynd around here. post random ( or completely organized) acts of kyndness experienced or perpetrated by you. really. pick something nice and tell us about it. please.
Let me tell you what i do..........I work for myself as a heat and A/C guy.I make a decent living with NO advertising.I rely on word of mouth. I do have one single line in the local yellow pages as it was free from verizon for a new business with a new business phone number. so I get phone calls from new "customers". Before I worked for myself, I worked for large companies for about 16 years, and I learned alot about how to determine "the people" before I ever walked to their door. What I mean by this is , I got pretty good at "guessing" what they were going to be like by looking at the house,yard,surroundings. Now I know this sounds judgemental and all..but trust me.....after knocking on 30,000 doors over 16 years....you can't help but pick up on certain charateristics. I know who is able to pay me, who is hurting , who is able and who is questionable........now, long wided , I know. I t is very common for me to tell people...not the ones with a $600,000 house........but rather the ones with a single mom, 3 kids , 6 broken down cars, cardboard in the windows , 7 underfed dogs......to tell them."don't worry about it". or " pay me what you can" ...those are my acts of kyndness......and trust me , it happens quite frequently , frequently enough for my freinds to tell me that I'm crazy. I can't give parts away, not costly parts....but I CAN give my time. and I do...quite often. and you know what, friends may tell me that I'm crazy....but I like the feeling. And I know that they appreciate it. And that's good enough for me
