Oh god, I LOVE Rick Mercer... AHHAhaha. That's such a great show. I'm gonna put it on now. (ahah..frickin Starchoice satellite and its CBC station for every timezone.. )

Rick Mercer went around America for a show called 22 Munits and tlaked to Americans about fake world and canadain issues...some people probobly went along with the jokes, but some probobly believed what he said...[for example, he got some people to sign a petition to stop the totonto polar bear hunt, and some more people to sign another petition to stop the traditional practice of sending old people out in ic floats when they reacha certain age....some of the new ons though were dealing with if the US should bomb Saskatchewan (or maybe Shawinagin) either way, it was in new york, so everyone just agreed really quick]

anywho, this was a 1 hour special comprised of the old footage, and new footage...its been shown periodically since 2001...

now they have bowling for columbine though...i love public TV

Oh for Five Cents! You all have just made me so home sick for crappy/good Canadian TV! All I can get here is the Red Green Show, and duct tape just gets tired. Do you know that I have to watch Degrassi TNG on this kids network called the N??? They didn't play the "Manny gets an abortion" episode, because it was too much for American Teens to handle, I guess. And they only just finished airing the Kevin Smith episodes! And Trailer Park Boys is no longer being carried by BBC America, which means I am SOL!

And, I realize that I am wicked old to post in the "young hippies" section, and I am wicked old to watch Degrassi... but had to rage for a moment.
