I was thinking about losing the remote-

I was thinking about when I lose the remote control, how it is so hard to find it or them sometimes. Anyway, I was thinking about how all the time when I lose the phone I just put that button on the base and listen real careful like and follow the beeping. Then dig around till I find It. Why cant they figure something out like this to help find the TV remote control? Do they already have remotes like the phone finder things? Like push a button on the TV/VCR/STEREO/DVD/and it would beep...someone invent it! I'm too tired and not smart enough. Peace. RX

So true. I just bought universal and paid almost $20. lol. My caseworker came over and asked me why my remote was in a ziploc baggie? Told her been through 3 keyboards from spills, and dropped one remote in the toilet on accident. Aint made of money. Peace RX

 

or maybe you could keep the remote in the same place all the time, like I do

I always lose my watch though. Take it off at all the wrong spots in my house, or throw it into a schoolbag and forget which pocket/bag I used. grar

 

im always losing my keys, if not that, locking them in my car all the time...


as for the remote, mine always slides into my couch and then seems to disappear forever...

 

I did an experiment once where I removed the power cord from the back of the t.v. (it was detachable), and gave it to a friend for a week, so I was unable to watch t.v. in my own house. I was amazed by how much I got accomplished, the house was spotlessly clean from top to bottom, Yard was mowed and kept up. I had time to read, and excersize. I read books, talked to my family, ect.....


Anyhow, back to the original subject, kinda, the thing that gets me is when people take the remote and set it on top of the television. What is the point?

 

ive thought about why they dont have a page button on remote controls. I have no idea why not. Ive never even seen one.

whats the point of having a page button on the remote???

if you lose the remote, how are you sposed to push the button?

unless of course you mean for those instances in which you misplace the tv.....
