Okay, so I'm planning to start my endo growing soon, but I just heard something from a friend: police helicopters with infrared can see your grow lights. He also told me that police watch electricity usage rates. True or false, friends?
Well, unless you're growing enough to light up 5 houses with grow lights...then no. That pretty mcuh applies only to massive grow ops
Infa-red detects heat sources. Infa-red can't tell the difference between a hot tub, sauna, elec heater or a 1,000-watt grow light. In a small apartment I wouldn't have more than a 400 watt or 600 watt HPS. That wouldn't warrant any attention. In a house maybe a couple of 600-watters, in a big house 3 or 4 that size.
