buyin an O: question

I'm buying an Ounce tommorow, and have not bought that large of a quanity before. I was hopig to get a picture of an Oz, or something close, with something else in the picture to show the size of it, so I know around how much should be there.

And before you say it, I'm already tryin to get a scale so i can weigh it out right there... the problem is, my friend is buyin it, the dealers leaving, then im picking it up... so i cant see the dealer weigh it...

Ummm...not something i would do, the chances of you getting ripped off from a dealer you dont even know or have not met is very high. But, you never know, it might come through, good luck

 

Size varies greatly. Condensed or fluffy. Dried or not so dry. Nugs or shake. Has you friend bought ounces before? Tell him not to get it if he doesn't think it's an ounce.

 

its my friends steady dealer... so i dont think there will be a problem. just wanted to see if there was a standard... like baggy is 3/4 full or somethin. i may have a scale....

 

ask the dealer to weigh it out infront of your friend, don't be rude about it either. if he's dealing any weight at all, and if he has any brains, he'd have a scale. When buying an ounce, this kind of thing can be expected... I wouldn't ask a dealer to weigh out a gram or anything though.

 

A lot of dealers like to sell one gram under an ounce in the U.S. because anything under an ounce is a misdemeanor. An ounce or more is a felony.

 

ive had an ounce be in a full large ziplock bag... but ive also got an ounce in 16 dime bags...so its hard to compair...but my scale always weighs em out to be an ounce

 

whenever i am buying an eighth, i see it weighed out. I definently would see if an oz weighed. The whole situation seems kinda sketchy..

 

its not sketchy... theres more to it then i typed, its just too long. ill ask if it can be measured in front of my friend...

btw, anyone know how much a zipoc bag ways? if i get a scale to way it, i wont be able to take it out of the bag and weigh it... the scale table is kinda small, so itd be fallin off...

 

if you pay more than $50, watch it get weighed. Feel it too (press against tissue paper a small bit, to test for moisture, especially on large quantities oz.+). Too many people don't properly cure/dry, or spray their stuff with water to add weight.

 

Fuck middle men, if they are your friends or not, its weed. Get your own steady dealer so you dont gotta worry about getting ripped off. I mean, my friends have pinched weed off me when I get them to get it, while I have pinched weed off them when I got it for em.Friends or not, its a drug. I mean, I never pinched alot to make it look small or anything, ussually jus a joint or something, while ive had 'friends' take 2 grams out of my stash before...which really pissed me off.

 

this was a fatty ounce i got, was crappy weed, but it was only 65$

 

tell ur friend to weigh it, and if he doesnt ahve a scale tell ur friend to have the dealer weigh it infront if him

anything under a half i recomend a handscale(their jsut so nifty will the keychain and all) over a half u need a digi(cuz handscales get sketchy for anything of a half)

your situation really depends on how cool the dealer is. If your friend is really tight with him, ask him to introduce you(hey man. this is my friend Jake, hes the one buyin and he buys alot so i thought id introduce him so i dont have to be the middleman anymore)
if hes a prick, the best thign you can do is make sure your friend has a digi(maybe a knife too) and tell him to weigh it out on the spot(not after the dealer leaves or any shit like that) and if u get ur friend a digi and he has it in his pocket then tell him to ask the dealer to weigh it out on his scales, and if the dealer has none(SHITTY DEALER) then he can jsut pull out t he one u got for him to use.

but like someone else said....if your paying more then 50 an O, i wouldnt trust the deal to go down smoothly without you there(make sure you trust your friend really really well...)

 

I'm lookin into gettin him a scale just in case. and yes i do trust the friend...

Do a search for scales, you can get them for 18 bucks after shipping or so...and I've seen the exact scale I got in a headshop for 50+ bucks

 

It was weighed out in front of my friend, came out to 30 Gs.
