    Hiya...

I'm just posting to let all the folks with locks know about the jewelry I've been making for dreadlocks. I've been making this jewelry for a few years now, but actually was on a very extended hiatus due to lots of chaos and tons of family things going on.

I created Dreadie Gems hair jewelry especially for people with locks or braids. All of the jewelry is handcrafted from sterling silver, complete with sterling silver embellishments, tiny glass beads, gemstone 'chips', & sterling silver/gemstone drops. Right now on my website i've got an end-of-summer sale going on, where all the pre-made Dreadie Gems are on sale.

I'll also be added some beautiful handblown glass dread beads to my site in the next couple weeks, as well as some gorgeous handcrafted sterling silver dread cuffs (basically large sterling silver tube beads which can accomadate even the largest locks) silversmithed by me.

I would love any and all feedback about my site that folks want to give. I just got my site up and running again after my loooooooooooooong hiatus. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! The website addy is:

Thanks for the replies, Environmental Junkie and Chiana20.

Chiana20, sorry to hear that your gf doesnt want you to have dreads..... If you want them, then it's too bad that she doesnt want you to..... but if you dont want dreads then it's not a worry at all!

    theyre definately nice
i'd be more into the glass beads tho..i've had something simular to those that i made, & it tended to get the other dreads tangled up in it & stuff..but thats why i took out all my peircings too

Cre, i DO have turquoise :) It's one of my favorite stones..... everytime I buy my gemstone drops I have to get lots and lots of turquoise. That and amethyst....... I've got a passion for the blues, aquas, and purples!
