so should we let it rot on top of the totem pole or hang it in a tree in the woods till its dried out an clean??

id say just put it on top of a stake out front

 

i say hang it in a tree in the woods....if i were to do the totem poll idea, id have to put a fancy hat on it...

 

i'd say stick it on a pike in front of your front gate. it's good for keeping the undesirables (like salesmen, jehovah's witnesses and mormons) from your door.

 

we have 2 at the gate already,, an the totem pole is close to the goats pasture,, an we have coyotes,, an his heads comin back fresh cut alla the godfather.. ;0

We just debating untill the fresh dead thiing is over should we hang him in the woods?? he will be atop the totem pole,,,the totem poles top is roughly 18 feet,, but as i said,, its next to the goat pen..

An anyone thats rotted a skull clean knows it gets pretty rancid before it gets just plain gruesome,, then it gets clean an perty...

 

yeah, do you have a nice sunny patch in the woods? i prefer them to be nice and bleached when we bring them back. but make sure it it's where the rodents can gnaw on it, kinda ruins the smoothness of it. or you could boil it clean.

 

yeah the boilin thing would work if his head wernt HUGE,, so i guess its the hangin in a tree deal.. we cant justify lettin it get rancid that close to the critter pen..

we just gonna have to hope the tree rats dont gnaw on i to bad afore its clean...

sure. my husband's friend would take the boiled remains from the skulls to attract the nuisance coyotes on his land, for a little spring cleaning, if you will. i suppose taking the rancid thing otut here would work, too, but none of us liked the smell.

 

you should insert metal rods throughout his body, creating a nice new shining skeleton for him. Then, stick him in front of the post office and see how long it takes people to realize that he's never gonna move.

dilligaf did somethin simalar,, back when she worked on the dairy farm in upstate new york..

she found a frozen calf after a blizzard deader than hell,, an toted her around the farm in diffrent places ,, hopin someone would notice,,..
