argh.....nothing in these forums pisses me off more than trolls EXCEPT that stupid hippie forum! I know that sounds stupid but have you ever read some of the threads in there? Half of them belong here in Random Thoughts and the other half could easily be polaced in the correct forums so that that one could be left open for people who may want to vent about hippies or praise them or something without haveing their thread sent to the bottom under a stupid thread about getting high for the First time on acid (Psychedelics) or wondering if they should get dreadlocks (body Modification/Dreadlocks) I can't even go in there anymore without being really disappointed with the content. I actually had a problem that i needed to talk about regarding how people might view me as a generalization, hippie or not, but I don't want to post in there because I would feel like an idiot asking all the people who think that being a hippie is about drugs, sex and just lazing around. This is just a vent but if anyone agrees or disagrees, post.
well just like everything there that could go other places just as easily, i think the post you wanted to make could go a few places as well.. i do think 99% of the stuff in young hippies belongs in pure bull.. but the thing about free speech is, your free to say what you want..where you want .. & its only up to you to decide where that should be
Every friday there is a protest against the war on the plaza here. On one side of the plaza are the protesters...they've come here for what they believe in. On the other side of the plaza are the patchy dready puffing people that have been here wrapped in the cannibus culture the entire week/month,whateva. The plaza is always full of hippies....but friday afternoon is the one time that truelly tells where each of these people really are. The rest of the week.....you never know...so maybe that's why people assume that hippie equals bum or whateva ...... they've never bothered to stop by the plaza of life on a friday afternoon.
I dont mind Extremely long posts, (not that the opening one for this thread i would consider 'Extremely long') but i hate Extremely long posts that don't have paragraphs, i can't read them! nay i WONT read them!
you can ignore someone who chronically makes long posts.... to the best of my knowlege I'd have to turn off all sigs to not see yours, what if I want to see other peoples sigs?
its just pisses me off that the people in there could easily be using the other forums for their questions and stuff.....but yeah its free speech....it is jsut really annoying to me
