codeine extraction and subsequent ingestion

ok teh result is that i have barely felt much at all

ive got absolutely no tolerance, so there are several things that could cause this lack of effect:

1)i didnt extract properly. i tried twice and both timesthe solutions tasted very bitter. perhapsnot bitter enough? i dunno, doesnt seem like this is the problem

2)liver not doing what i want it to. perhaps all teh codeine is jsut being metabolised into chems other than morphine and the like? i dunno

3)something else? when i have taken dxm, ive had to take more than the reccomended dose for specific plateus. perhaps its the same idea? theyre both metabolised similarly i believe and effect opiate receptors.

so what do you do when opiates arent affecting you enough? take more? i dont want to buildup something harmful inside me just caus i cant feel it.

last night i tried it, i felt it coming on and then it just tapered off.

now its been coming on over like an hour.. but i feel its just gonna taper off again

 

if you used a cold water extration to extract and messed it up your IQ should be around 20 and you would stop breathing becasue you where so stupied you didnt know how,also i dont like codine it never did anything for me, if you want an opaite buzz i would go with oxycodone or opium

 

the paracetamol wouldnt precipitate if i folled the steps given. i managed to get the paracetamol out to an extent when i tried again tonight but once again, there wasnt enough codeine to make me feel more than a pain-ignoring dose.

i dunno how easy it is to get oxy or opium over there but id never heard of oxy till i came on these forums, and you wont find opium without lots of connections, here. if i wanted heroin i could get it but clearly i want a mild opiate that i can easily find, so i can understand why people take opiates

 

oh i worked out what the main problem was in teh extraction, i was crushing the pills up too fine. either that, or the chemicals in tap water make paracetamol suspend easily compared to filtered rain water, which i used on teh most recent test

but its almsot 1230 am so i dont think i have time to test it
...

I don't know about Australia, but here in the states we have all sorts of weird ass shit in our tap water. From Lead and Copper to Floride, there is a lot of shit that would fuck up the extraction.
Go and buy a bottle of distilled water.

 

one thing i keep in mind when i do the extraction is to crush of the pills and much as possible. also, it's important to add the right amount of water. It says here to use 2 mL of water per pill but i add a little more just to be safe.

 

the extraction worked better when i didnt crush them up at all, thanks anyway!
i still need to make a much bigger batch though...

 

ok well me and my friend tried it a few times, maybe somehow theres still something thats different about how the extraction works here, but i didnt feel effects that i would consider reaching what people talk about in erowid reports lol. in order to feel much at all i needed to make my most recent batch, putting initially over 350 mg's codeine, but i dont know how much i got in the end. i shouldnt have to use that much.
and im sure its not just my technique, my buddy who does plenty of chemistry and the like has been trying to do it since i told him and getting teh exact same results.

next time ill try a proper opiate but i dont know where the hell id find it.

and im not exactly gonna go searchign for it lol the effects i eventually did get felt good but pointless, it felt good to just sit there... it made me wanna smoke lots of weed and get some actual affects on my mind instead of just feeling warm and comfy and content.

 

Ya, even though codeine is in the same schedule as hydrocodone (schedule III), it is really week. And secondly i've been hearing reports that the c-w extraction doesn't work in removing acetaminophen from the narcotic. If you read the posts that are posted on the main forum for psychedelics (the form has the words "crack cocaine" in it, an experienced chemist as well as myself debate this extraction process. Feel free to read it, but he says that the two layers aren't acetaminophen and narcotic/water, but instead (if i understood correctly) the white gooky stuff is just the inactive chemicals that compose the pill that have no analgesic properties (like the stuff they put in all pills that holds it together). I'm no expert, and i don't know if he is either, but if what he's saying is true, then popping 5 hydrocodones, oxycodones, or codeins that have acetaminophen will do the same damage that drinking the "filtered solution" will do. I really hope he's wrong and i've been PUSHING you people to share your thoughts because i know they're are a lot of people who think that the c-w extraction works, and i'm not saying it doesn't. SO PLEASE, people, share with me and each other publicly your thoughts on this extraction process b/c i really need to know
