None that I'm aware of...it's been awhile since I last tested, probably should get tested again, just as a precaution.
Well I've only had one sexual partner (my husband) and when I was pregnant (I have three children, two of which are twins) my OB/GYN ran the usual tests which included STD screening as well as for HIV. All was clear. I had figured it would be, but there was a shadow of doubt because my husband had been with other women prior to me, so I knew there was a chance that he might have come in contact with something that may have been passed on. Thank goodness, he hadn't.
hpv isn't a big deal no worries, especially if your a guy. umm... actually HPV is a big deal. my best friend has had to have her organs removed because she didn't know she had HPV for almost 3 years after she contracted it. she gave it to a lot of guys... and they've probably given it to lots of girls by now, too. there are no symptoms really, and thats what's so scary. really, just get tested. it doesn't take long, its not brutally uncomfortable, and it beats having all your reproductive organs gone at the tender age of 19, which is exactly what happened to my friend.
I would ratehr not know if I had anythign, for me it would be better that way and besides I dont get any
cold sores are an std, cold sores are herpes, by age 65 90 percent of you will have one form of herpes or another. most of your parents have an std. i've had the clamydia and i have cold sores. i was lucky i caught on to the symptoms of the clap when i did because for me it was only displayed for one day...one day to take notice and not ignore something without all the symptoms going away....freaky deaky...i've been tested multiple times since and im clean. but at anyrate, there is a large chunk of people who are iether lying or don't know they are infected in this thread.
None. Never. But you're right, there's TONS of people out there with HPV, herpes etc. who are asymptomatic carriers. I think it's 40% have herpes.... wouldn't be surprised about chlamydia and HPV rates being that high.
What is HPV? I think we should have a sticky or something posting various STDs, meanings and symptons. For people like myself who have never gone for a test and never plan on it.
