Exactly 7-Days ago the Pharmacy dispensed me 'Levothyroxine' in replacement for my usual brand name "SYNTHROID". It was an error on the script and my last blood work for Hypothyroidism (TSH and T3-T4) Lab tests were done on Synthroid Brand. Anyone else had bad reaction to certain types or brand names of Medication for Low Thyroid, or switch brands and have this happen? ~RxHead~
There is a generic equivalent to Synthroid now, called. . . levothyroxine. Synthroid IS levothyroxine. It doesn't sound like the pharmacy did anything wrong.
Im just paranoid, had problems with brand Levothroid and was changed to 'Dispense as Written' 'Brand Medically Necessary' for 3 months, then was subst. with generic. Thanks for letting me know it is the same eq to Synthroid was worried was Levothroid in generic. Psycosomatic.
Holy hell, when my dad isn't on his thyroid medication he's psychotic. I've only seen this happen once on vacation when he forgot to pack his meds... but he was unbarable. I'd say like... "red light" as he's going full speed up to a stop light. And he'd snap at me and tell me to mind my own business. Now normally my dad is the most calm, mellow person... I hate how medications can do that to people. They change you when you are on them, they change you when you are off them.
the subcategory is pharmaceuticals, and many of the drugs discussed in the psychedelics forum aren't psychedelic anyway (opiates, amphetamines, benzodiazapines, cocaine, tobacco, absinthe, caffeine, kava, etc.)
Thanks, I was feeling as if under attack Edit : began making a long passive/agresive reply about hypocrocy and flaming, only thought, no, your repy was much shorter and civil than the words running through my mind. Thanks again... Peace RXhead
