I'm new to the site, trying to grasp how everything works. Looking for some people I can discuss things with on my own level, who know where I'm coming from. I'm pretty compassinate, love nature, animals, gardening, pacifism, and have an interest in the buddist religion. I also like music. Mainly heavy metel, rock, and alternitive. I'm in my late 30's, live in northern NY, and work 40hrs as a 911 dispatcher/call taker.
Where am I coming from: I want to surround myself with people who are passifists and want to make the world a better place for future generations by treading lightly on this earth and aiming for world peace. My job can be stressful, but It's satisfying to me to go home and know I've helped someone when they needed it. Thanks for the welcome.

Hey Now! I was just up by Trumansburg, lived in Rome when I was a kid, been to one of those Woodstock Reunions in Bethel...Some interesting things going on in NY.

Let me extend the welcome mat. I just recently found “The Hip Forums” myself and I know what it’s like to be a newcomer. You don’t really know what to say or how to act. Read some of the threads so you can get the gist of what topics are being discussed. When you feel comfortable jump right in and get your feet wet. Nobody here is going to “Flame” you, that’s not tolerated here. From what I’ve found so far is that we are one big family with many brothers and sisters. Once again the doors open come on in, open up your heart and mind, kick back and stay awhile.
