Have any of you guys listened to the Grey Album? Its by Dangermouse and he samples the White Album with Jay-Z's lyrics. As a fan of both classic rock and rap i would have to say its amazing. Everyone who likes rap just a little bit should check it out. If anyone here has herd any of the songs from it, i'd like to know what you guys think.
I've heard a couple of tracks. I was going to buy it but it got banned right? I love 99 Problems/Helter Skelter, and the others I heard were mixed very well!
Yeah EMI and Sony were being assholes and threatened to sue if dangermouse did not "cease and desist". It was a load of bullshit to tell the truth. These are torrents, not files. Requires you to install a bunch of software your network admin comes in and hands you a pink slip for installing.
paranoid are we? i've been using torrent sharing for awhile now.. no network admin knockin at my door ... yes... torrents are files that connect you to other people with the files you are going to download... its much faster than limewire... winmx... whatever network sharing program you use because im connecting directly to the source
torrents are the best way to download in my opinion. then when i cant find what im looking for on there, i use soulseek. as for the grey album, im very intrested in it...might have to download a few songs to hear what its like. I have no real intrest in jay-z...but its the beatles...so i konw i will like at least half of it
