Who else loves this guy... his songs are extremely well written... i'd concider him one of the best folk singers.. right behind dylan.... his newest CD is great... and his voice doesnt sound too different from his older stuff even though hes now missing part of his neck... just sounds like his voice has aged... thats all... what are your favorite songs? i like Illegal Smile, Your Flag Decal Wont Get You Into Heaven Anymore, Sam Stone, Christmas In Prison, Some Humans Ain't Human

ah, John Prine, loved his songs for ages. I think he wrote Angel from Montgomery, such a beautiful song, and I love Paradise too. and many others. saw him at Bonnaroo this year, just as energetic and feisty as ever. and still very loved by the people, I was glad to see. his new album is great, too.

ohh man! It hits close to home seeing all the people saying "My dads a John Prine nut!" because, my Dad also introduced me to John Prine. His songs are extremely well written. I recall listening to his music when I was much younger, though, and screaming in the back of the van saying, "turn it off! turn it OFF!".. but growing older and wiser and not so hostile =P, I enjoy his stuff quite a bit!

Yes, Sam Stone and his leftover drug habit from his title album. I'm still hanging on to three turntables so I can ocassionally play my 2500 albums.

Okay, okay... I've reconsidered... I know I said I don't have a favourite... Because I really do love em all... But... ahha.. lately I've been pretty partial to Mexican Home. :D

And that's all I want to say here. :D
