I've been studying French recently, and have really been getting into it, I love this language! But I am too scared to speak it around anybody, for I know of no people around here that speak the language that I could listen to and "practice" with.

so, if you dont mind, what would be some good artists and bands that could really help me develop a French accent and pronounce the words properly? (haha, I speak more British than this British kid at school, because of my obsession with Oasis :D )

    thanks!

Maxime Le Forestier is a good choice if you like folk, but I would also suggest Serge Gainsbourg, Jacques Dutronc, Michel Polnareff... and for women, Francoise Hardy. My personal favorite :D
