Does anyone else get them? I get them all the time, which is really weird because I'm a virgin. It's not like there's a chance of that happening any time soon. Unless, of course, I give birth to the messiah or one of the children of the damned.

I know it's natural. I know it's because I'm 17 and my body's telling me "HEY! THIS IS THE PERFECT TIME TO START HAVING KIDS! DO IT WHILE YOU'RE STILL YOUNG!", right? It's just kind of weird because this didn't start happening until a couple of weeks ago. Now they're pretty frequant.

could be something hormonal, or maybe you have just been thinking about babies.

i have pregnancy dreams too, but we are trying very hard to get pregnant, so i'm sure that in my case it's just a matter of my fixation spilling over into my subconscious.

Ive had pregnancy dreams for years. I think my first might have been when I was twelve- around then.

Theyre' almost like my dream children, in the dreams Ive either just had the pregnant stomach, or Ive had the children already. The first that ever occured in my REM cycle was that I was breastfeeding my newborn...it was th emost beautiful sensation to ever possess. Something you can only dream about until it actually happens, I suppose. All my dreams of this nature have truly been positive and beautiful, and Ive always woken happy after. I dont know why I get them, just that I dig them..

Yeah. My dreams aren't like that, though. Mine are actually kind of frightening. It's not like I'm scared to have children, because I want to have children someday. These dreams are just weird.

Well, like, last night I drempt that I wasn't pregnant, but I brought home a pregnancy test just to see how it worked. Then my parents saw it and they got all worried, which upset me because they know I'm a virgin. Another dream I had was one where I actually was pregnant, and I went into labor while teaching a religious school class (I've wanted to teach at my temple's religious school for awhile now) and, for some reason, I didn't even know I was pregnant until I went into labor. (well, I'm not a thin person, so I guess I just thought I gained weight or something. Hell, it's a dream, shit like this happens) Another time I had a dream that I was pregnant and was afraid to move because I thought I had a miscarriage. Weird dreams like that. It's freaky. I know dreams don't always make sense, but there has to be some meaning behind them.

This isn't exactly the same, but for a long time while I was involved with this one guy I used to dream that I had to take care of someone else's baby. Someone would leave their baby with me, the boyfriend would go off and party and not help me with this responsibility, and I'd wander around looking for the parents and trying to care for the baby.

While I was having those dreams it was very obvious to me what it meant. He was an irresponsible burden.

Then, when I was actually pregnant with each of my two kids I had terrible nightmares. I dreamed that I would have the baby and lose it, like I'd leave it in a dresser drawer and forget that I put it there. I'd search everywhere and find the baby, usually dead. Horrific.

Or I'd dream that I was deep in the ocean surrounded in every direction by hungry sharks. I think it was because I had a lot of anxiety about being ready for the babies to come.

When my second kid was a baby, she used bite me hard when she was nursing. She would chomp down with all her might, with TEETH, and grin when I screeched in pain. I dreamed that a hideous green baby-sized monster was on my bed, trying to bite me, and I hit it, and it laughed. The meaning of that one was pretty obvious at the time, too.

Yep, I've had these a few times. I'm nowhere near ready to have a baby, but the dreams do give me a nice, maternal feeling.

i used to have them all the time too. It turned out tho that i was just drinking too much water before i went to bed, and so when my dreams started rolling around, my bladder was pretty full and my head would just respond to how my body was feeling --- pregnant! So if you have to pee really badly when you wake up, that could be the case for you too!

i used to have loads of baby dreams, pregnany, nursing, of just plain gazing at one that was mine, i had them from about age 14 i guess, never worried me though, they were mostly nice, since ive been pregnant ive had a few horrible ones like one minute im pregnant and the next i give birth in about 3 seconds and its ok ut then it keeps turning into a rabbit, go figure!, lol, and i kep leaving it behind or on the floor or something, think its just my brain exorcising fears i have about motherhood, maybe your dreams are your brains way of exploring how you feel about it, doesnt mean your ready to have one or even want to right now, just the idea.
