    maybe you mean "dulcinée" ? in this case, well... i don't have much english vocabulary. humm.

    usually used for a girl, it's a nice word... the man can use it to speack about his girl friend or wife.
    "ma dulcinée" means something around "the girl i love" / "my darling" [?] / "my sweet ...." / "the love of my life"

    the dictionnary doesn't say much about it unfortunately. it says it's humoristic. well i don't agree. it *can* be humoristic. the word isn't really often used, and a little bit old and precious indeed. but i find it is beautiful and that it tells the love with lots of tenderness.

    well that's my opinion.

    il me semble que Dulcinée est le prénom d'un personnage de don Quichotte, de Cervantes. Ma dulcinée=ma Juliette. En gros.
