Try the Victoria, right across from Train Station. Plan to stay there in Apr/06.

    A bit of general advice...................................

Not sure when you are going, but if it's not ''peak'' it's
ultra easy to just roll off the train, walk around a bit
and find loads of hotels around the Centrum.
Remember, always ask for out of season rates if your
on holiday during these months. Also ask for mid-week
prices as opposed to weekend rates too. For me I used
to have a TV in the room but knocked that on the head
when I never even watched it as I was out partying all
the time anyway. Not all but many are shared loo or
shower and obviously a canal view will be more than a
brick wall view, etc. Again, not all actually advertise on
the internet or have anything to do with online booking
companies either. All in all, it really is a piece of cake
to find a hotel you like once there, just ask for the key
so you can inspect the room and do an on-the-spot
deal there and then. I always bargain, no matter what.

    Hi Chilover,

Why don't you try The Bilderberg Hotel Jan Luyken, I stayed there and it's great.

Close to the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum and all the nice places around.

    I booked it by http://www.trendy-hotels.com.

    Bye,

    Lisa

Lots of people like the Krasnapolsky right on Dam Square.

I agree with Larry....sounds like a good place for your desires

I've read that the regular suites are much nicer than the apartments
