I wonder if anyone else finds foot decorations, such as painted toes, toe rings and barefoot sandals sexy? Once in awhile, I wear a toe ring, and personally I find females who decorate their feet very sexy.
It's definitely fun. My feet feel naked if I don't have at least one toe ring on each foot and an ankle bracelet on each ankle. I don't leave the house if my toes aren't painted.
I love foot accessories...I french manicure my toe nails and where a toe ring sometimes. I really like nice shoes too.
On an earlier post, I brought up the topic of males wearing toe rings. I did it a lot at the end of this summer and it felt much sexier than I ever expected.
I personally don't want anything on my feet. I've tried toe rings, and regardless of how the look - which is OK, especially on women, I don't like the feel of them. Too much like shoes. I want nothing covering my feet or any part of my feet. I'm not saying they're wrong for others, but my preference is to really have bare feet.
Are there masculine-looking barefoot sandals? All that I've seen are for women. I made a pair of barebottoms from 2 nylon webbing straps, and they do look an awful lot like a pair of Tevas. They fool most but not all.
I never thought barefoot sandals were either masculine or feminine. I think they look cool on both men and women.
I always wear at least one, and sometimes 2 toe rings, and one or two ankle bracelets, usually on my left ankle. It's been awhile since wearing anklets on both ankles, but I might do it again. So far, no painting, although I have no problem with it, on anyone who does it. As I've mentioned before, for me, being clean is part of the sexiness. I get about as dirty as outdoor living gets me; earth from gardening, hiking, biking, etc. I don't like town dirt, and it comes off as soon as I notice I've got it. To me, it is sexy on both males and females.
Well it's certainly subjective. All of the barefoot sandals I've seen have frilly edges, multi-colored beads or just look "delicate" and I've never found them appealing enough to think about wearing them. But then I haven't looked too hard to find a pair, as my flip flops serve me well. But as for other foot decorations, for me that just goes without saying. I went through a phase where I had painted toes off and on for a few years. Eventually I lost interest. I still think painted toes are sexy, but for me I think I did it for shock value and once that wore off it just didn't have the appeal to do it anymore. I was mainly also trying to get women to notice my feet, and every once in a while I got a comment, but sadly there were also a lot of negative looks from both sexes.
If anyone knows of a more masculine looking barefoot sandal, please share with us. I'm thinking of creating a pair from rawhide laces, but I haven't settled on a design yet.
I always paint my toes. And, I love my bell anklet... I've been wanting to get another to match so I always jingle. I need to get a hold of some toe rings as well... :H
I think toe rings are sexy one girls and guys. Personally, I like my hemp anklets and I do like toe rings too. As for nail polish, I'm not a big fan. I like the natural look of toe nails. Not to mention nail polish fumes. Whew!!!
I would like to know more about the bell anklet, how much sound, what it looks like. It 'sounds' cool.
I usually wear leather ankle bracelets on each foot. Made from boat shoe laces! They look cool but sometimes if the dirt is at ankle level they may be hard to see. There's a pic in my gallery which shows this (not my foot, though). I had a girlfriend who used to do the same, but hers had some bells on them.
i like it when people have like tattoos or henna or something, like cool designs on them, i like toerings too those are nice but i dont wear them cuz they annoy me, but i have to have an ankle braclet on.
