im gonna be an alien for halloween and im gonna make my own costume... im thinking. so does anyone have any suggestions? any designs you can suggest? or any places you can suggest that you know have some funky futuristic like jetsons type neon alen outfits? thank you!
check at the local fabric store. go to where the patterns are and check in the books for the halloween costumes. im sure they would have aliens. Even if they dont have a spacific costume for a alien, you can use other patterns and just do some alterations. all you would need is a robe type costume and maybe a cape, and then do your make up like an alien, cause im sure a mask would be hard to make.
i was an alien for halloween once. i was a lizard from a desert planet. i painted my face and hands green and drew on scales, really elaborate lol...and then i wore robes kinda like saudis wear. i made it up, it was fun

the thrift store might have some good finds. especially if you're looking for old boots or a robe to dye. you could spray paint the boots, if you're having trouble finding ones that are neon pink. you could also carry a squirt gun or make those glittery-bobble antennas (you know, the sparkle-jiggle balls attached to long springs on a headband).
once a friend of mine wrapped tinfoil around his upper body and put a big yellow sponge on his head. he was a baked potato. lol (no doubt about the BAKED part!)
oh, actaully, i found a raygun thing for $2.15 at party america, it was on sale from $10, and it lights up AND makes sound, and i obught iinenna for like 3.o0 or somthing. yay!
Check the thrift stores for shiny clothes....you know those metalic ones from the 80's *bleah* Spray paint some boots silver... Decide what colour you want to be and get some gloves, tights and face paint. Spray your hair a different colour..... How about some antennae? Make some funky "keys to your space ship" to dangle from your belt....
No problem...it's true...if I were near you, I'd pay you to help me with my halloween costume...I'm so stuck!
i think for my tights im gonna have black and white stripped, or orange and white stripped i really like the keys idea. or maybe just green. and im gonna buy a wig
i got a bright green dress, with a letex black thing to go over it to make it be futuristic. im thinking a bright green wig, or! oh! i can post them! oh, wait, i cant because it would take WAY too much time and memory on my computer, making it run even SLOWER! anyways. i can have a bright green, or aqua blue, or deep purple, or shiney blue, or bright yellow. or another blue. what do u think would look best? maybe il get around to posting a couple.
