Her are a few of my poems, although nowhere near as well written as others on this site and the timing of the lines is admittedly awful.
But i used them to express myself and thats a crucial factor isnt it?
Well i actually wrote them in 2003 (left a date on them) but have always kept them and probably always will, anyway here we go:

    POEM 1
    A storm rages
a flurry of wind and then a bang
    Somewhere distant, the source swells
up it rises, and begins to bubble
it slowly comes, then picks up pace

    I am one with clarity

    Drowsily, I float alongside
    Taking part in a journey

The pace drops, and serenity is found
But seemingly unknowing to all, the cycle continues,
Because just as temperarures and oceans
    Tempers and emotions do rise
    But for now
    All is calm

    POEM 2
Its getting bigger, i feel it grow
I try to swallow, it wont go down

Why do these angels torture me?

My chests so tight. It has to blow
Out it comes, my head feels light
Im all alone, but not for long
He touches my arm, i feel the warmth

Why does the devil comfort me?

He takes me away to the red, red river
Everythings gone, and life seems fine.

    POEM 3
    Consuming with all your senses
you devour me in an unstopable way
    every last inch in engorged,
I know not how to feel, just what to feel.

    Knowingly you take my body
but willingly i give you my soul,
My heart is of no interest to you,
But my soul you will keep
for you do not know it is your to have,
But it will be with you from now on
until i bore of this surrender.

Although satisfying it is to be ones delicacy
    after all
we all like to be eaten
