back in elementary school, when they had the whole DARE thing goin on..i believed everything they told me, how all drugs would completely ruin your life, etc.

i was about 13 or 14 when my brother first told me he had tried pot with his buddy..i thought he was gonna ruin his life, and i was worried about him..not too long after that i ended up trying pot for my first time, and everything changed

now i've been smoking pot ever since!

    haha, fuckin DARE..

back in 4th and 5th grade i would take out books on weed almost everyday from the school library. I always knew i wanted to try it, just cuz it seemed like a lot of fun. And then in 8th grade i finally did, and i absolutly love it!

    yeah

DARE was a waste of money, and it was a failure

they'd be much better off doing some sort of harm reduction program or the like

I kinda believed everything people said, but in my heart I wanted to try it. No-one had anything, so I never got a chance. But my friend got some months ago, and I've been trippin' since then! :)

I know how to make alot of stuff (Bongs, pipes, ect.) now.
There is a dry spell here in Oklahoma, but that will soon change I hope.

My friend made a funny saying, "D.A.R.E. means Drugs Are Really Expensive.". Lol, I thought it was funny.

So Peace out, and remember. Stay Cool, Skate Hard, and Stay Stoned!

i dont get it, what does DARE really stand for? ive been wondering that for years off and on...

but anyways, i guess when i was younger, i thought it was kinda bad and like more serious. it used to be such a big deal, but its not anymore. i used to think 'oh i dont want to end up all like a total pothead' but now that i am, i think its great!! im so glad i started smoking, ive been missing out!

since i knew my mum did it from a reasonably early age i knew it didnt fuck you up but i still thought that doing it too much would get you into trouble with the law or make you go stupid like all the stereotypical stoners id seen/heard of.

during highschool, i payed out ppl who smoked weed

'hey maaaaannnn wasssuuuupppppp , smmookkeee cooonneeesss on da weekend bro?'

pretending to be whacked out because it was fun to piss em off. i knew doing it wasnt bad but habit was.

now when people do it i of course reply 'yes, i did.'

and i guess habits arent great but not as bad as i used to think ;)

    WHAT?!!

    WHHHHAAAAATTTT???!!!!

Just say that marijuana turns us into sex craved criminal delinquent junkies if you're going to throw that much bullshit out. I can not belive that the people standing in the way between us and our right to smoke pot say shit this stupid and half of america believe them. My intelligence is offended.

Do you think the people that preach all this stuff know the history of marijuana? IE: Anslinger and things of that such? Do you think that they know that they are feeding kids bullshit, or do you think they genuinely believe this?

I think its really mixed. The people at the top know its bullshit, but most people like the lady that wrote that article are so indocrtinated in the system and they just believe whatever they're told. not only do they believe, but they WANT to believe, and when their belief structure is chalenged, they have to start stretching like saying that people would be smoking and using oxygen at the same time.
