One night stands.... yay or nay

I wonder what people here think of one night stands... what if you're a single person, just looking for a bit of harmless fun on a night out, bearing in mind that you're aware of the dangers (pregnancy, stds) you have the chance to sleep with someone who you feel attracted to at that moment...whats your take on that? nay or yay

i personally think one night stands are ok when both parties are fully concious of their actions, protection is used and BOTH ARE SINGLE OR HAVE NO COMMITMENT TO A THIRD PARTY!!

if you had the chance tonight...would you go for it? be honest!

i've never really had what you might call a one night stand really, maybe the closest thing to one was a few days i spent with someone..who is still a special freind to this day even though we sometimes lose touch with eachother for a few years at a time..

but in the past what tended to happen would be i'd meet someone, & feel that attraction, we'd end up together not really thinking about wether its a 1 night thing or something more..& before i realized it shed end up moving in with me..lol
one night stands arent my thing..i guess though if there was someone really worthwhile, & for some reason 1 night was all that was possible, i'd concider it.... but i wouldnt just fuck someone i met at a party just for the sake of fucking someone (actualy i guess i have done it once or twice..back when i did drink)
i dont think theresanything wrong with 1 night stands..if thats your thing..its just not what i usualy preffer
