What did you think of Fight Club? At first, I didn't want to give it a try, because it really seemed like a movie I wouldn't like. I'm not too much interested in action movies. But this one...I loved. The action is an important part to it, but it isn't so much the killing and destroying as the underlying meaning of reality. And searching for a purpose, and losing sanity. I would go on, if anyone is willing to conversate with me upon their views...
I liked this movie. Brad Pitt and Edward Norton are great in it as is Meatloaf playing a man with boobies
The first rule of Fight Club is: Don't talk about Fight Club. Great film. Not even a little bit what I expected. Beyond that, you have to watch it to apreciate it.
yes it is fantastic. I so know what you about not thinking you'd like it and then seeing it and totally changing your mind. so well done, from the soundtrack to the acting to the aesthetics. it was great.
i didn't get it the first time (might have been because i was making out with whyatt for most of it) but the second time i watched it i fell in love with it! brad pitt is so sexy in it! it really is a good movie though.
but one thing I don't get in the movie, everything ''seem'' to make senses to me, BUT can someone tell me why Tyler Durden has to be metrosexual, what's the meaning of this...
I agree. Pitt and Norton were great together. And I love this movie. One of my faves. Never expected that ending tho. Mayn, I didnt see that one comin. I actually had to watch it a second time n then I noticed all the little bits that foreshadowed the ending. I was too stupid to catch them the first time
When Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts were in The Mexican, it was billed as having two of the world's biggest stars in it. Remind me, what the hell had Brad Pitt done? At leat Roberts has won every awars under the sun but Pitt doesn't even get nominated. He's known for being a stud (yuck) If i was Roberts i'd feel robbed that he got the attention for no reason. he hasn't done anything. Fight Club was stupid as was Meet Joe Black.

I didn't say i hated Pitt, isaid it's unforunate that he gets equal billing Roberts when their acting ability and accolades are world apart. He's popular and to many that means a good actor. They are completely different things. If he was such a good actor, where are his awards. Get it now?
so how did this ONE guy start a huge army? He had a fight with himself in a parking lot at night? So I guess that the 1st guy who joined fight club saw some crazy freak beating the shit out of himself, and thought that looked pretty good to him? I might not remember the movie correctly, I only saw it once, and it was a couple years ago, but I think that was pretty much what happened, wasn't it? Ain't that a bit strange? I love Marla SInger! Her stile, maner of dressing etc. is great! I love this pic. "seaze the day" is in "dead poets society" I like her sitting near those words. Also the song in the and is cool! " Where is my mind?? Where is my mind??"
first of all, being a teenager has nothing to do with whether or not one person's opinion is worthy. I know plenty of teenagers who are far more articulate and intelligent than people ten, twenty, thirty years older than them secondly, awards are not neccesarily the only indicator of how good a movie/actor/actress is. For instance the Oscars are hugely political, it's not just about the performance. also, Roberts isn't that amazing. I think her performance in closer was a great one, but other than that she has played the same type-cast rom-com character so many times that its no wonder shes got it pegged. and finally, Pitt might be a bit of a meh most of the time, but in Fight Club he really performed well. I thought everthing about that film was great actually. I definitely wouldn't call it stupid at any rate - i actually found it quite intelligent. was there a particular reason why you thought it was stupid?
well most of the guys in the fight club are un-happy about their lives so some dude comes around a new way to live, they jumb at the chance. fight club is just another cult.
