As in public restaurants and places like that, or just in general, outside in parks and stuff? Because smoking is banned inside anyplace public here, but the pot laws haven't changed at all...

The only thing that sucks is that now that people can't smoke cigaretts inside venues to see bands, it's wicked obvious when you try to smoke a J. Though smoking ciggs is something I'd advise against, its your choice. If everyone around me is hacking butts, no one will notice my J =P

They need to ban cigarretes EVERYWHERE and replace it with marijuana. I mean, tobacco has no positive effects but has thousands of negative effects. Marijuana has thousands of positive effects and MAYBE one or two negative effects. Our legal system confuses me.

it be wisest to burn down the factories of the major cig corps. and have hippie farmers grow organic 100% tobacco for the people

Best Idea I've heard yet. I honestly dont think tobacco and nicotine would be that bad if there weren't a few hundred other chemicals added in there. Thats why I can't understand why people continue to smoke butts when they know theres so much shit in there other than tobacco.

Actually, this is one of the things I hold agains the "Legalize and tax it" argument. I fear that if pot becomes mass produced it will be ruined by the corperations. Then when weed really IS bad for you, it'll just get taken away and they'll be like "See, stupid public, we were right all along"

they've banned cigs in the Twin Cities area(st. paul/minneapolis).. i doubt it'll have no effect on marijuana charges... same penalty will still apply if you get caught doin somethin illegal... anyways... im sure its just a public places and restrants ban... its the newest craze... ya know... second hand smoke is bad for you.. or so the government says... yet they dont have solid proof on that one either... they never seem to have solid proof on anything.. dont get me wrong... smoke of any sorts is bad.. they just dont have solid proof that second hand smoke is as bad as smoking like their ads say
