Better yet, if Jimmy cracks corn and nobody cared why did they write a song about it?

Are the only lyrics to the song "Jimmy crack corn and I don't care?" Is that it, or is there more to it? ;)

The song is actually titled Blue-tail Fly and originated in the late 1800s. I cleaned up most of the grammer for simplicity, but here you go:

When I was young I used to wait
On massa and hand him his plate
And pass the bottle when he got dry
And brush away the blue-tail fly

Jimmie crack corn and I don't care (3X)
    Ol' massa's gone away

One day he ride around the farm
The flies so numerous they did swarm
On chanced to bite him on the thigh
The devil take the blue-tail fly

    chorus

The pony run, he jump the pitch
He threw my massa in the ditch
He died and the jury wondered why
The verdict was teh blue-tail fly

    chorus

They lay him under a simmon tree
His epitaph is there to see
"Beneath this stone I'm forced to lie--
    victim of the blue-tail fly"
