Yeah thank God someone else seels the same way! Played clari, then moved to Alto Sax, all the time living in a drummers soul. From that I taught myself piano and have lived there for 20+ years/ Of course I taught myself git and bass from dat. I dabble in harp, latin percussion and bass too! Eventually I want to spin too!
i haven't read many threads or posts about drummers in this forum tho, not compared to guitarists anyways. I play the keyboard and umm..drums! yay!!
Guitar, bass guitar (badly), and piano, which also means I can play most keyboard instruments. That includes the following: Vibraphone, xylophone, clavichord, harpischord, church organ, pipe organ, harmonium, melodica?, Moog synthesiser, keyboard, other synths, etc. =)
No- it does not mean you can play organ. Organ's a whole new instrument. Three staves instead of two, and there's all the stops, the pedalboard... it's got a whole new technique attached to it.
True, but I've tried organ, and managed to work something out. I don't really like it that much though, so I probably wouldn't play it if I had the choice. Digeridoo-That's really cool, MushieBaby. How do you do it?
clarinet, tenor sax, keyboard instruments (marimba, piano, xylo) stuff like that..... also guitar, bass guitar
wow! I play the banjo I've been playin for almost 4 years now. i said wow! because where are all the banjo players?????
Haha! That reminds me of playing the recorder way back in the day. I can remember it like it was yesterday though... HOT CROSS BUNS, HOT CROSS BUNS....DO DOO DO DOO DO DO DODOO HOT CROSS BUNS.
Harmonica, slide guitar (guitar, but different), odd percussion (real drums scare me) and i'm starting to pick up the banjo too.
hahahahaha we did that too, the same thing. the music room always smelled like bleach because thats how she cleaned them. wow, our music teacher was wierd, always threating to sit on kids (jokingly of course, still weird though)
