I have to repair my jacket.
It is 2 years old and I'm going to renew it when cold weathers come. Today, when it's still warm I'm too lazy :p

I'm going to make some flannel petticoats to wear under my long skirts. I'm also knitting a shawl. I want to knit some hats, scarves, and mittens for my little guy and my granchildren if I ever get the shawl done.

I've already got my hat and mittens ready hehe :) But I've also made some skirts that are thicker material than my usual ones which I'll wear with my boots to keep me warm.

Great, I need a new warm skirt too. Can you show us some pictures?

I'm also making a shawl. It's going to be finished soon :)

Oh! Everyone is knitting a shawl! [IMG]

I'm knitting a scarf for my boyfriend since August but it's so boring and I don't like it [IMG] It is dark blue with thin green stripes..
I think he won't like it 'cause he thinks these two colors don't go together [IMG]

The author of this threat asks us for picture so here it is - the scarf. However, colors are not the same.. PC cam problems you know:)

I'm making an afghan. I've never made one before, as I tend not to have a lot of patience with projects. A week is about as long as I can work on one thing. Granny Squares rock, because you can make them whenever without making this huge commitment. Here is what I've got so far. I am thinking of crochetting another couple rounds in a cream colour around each square?

I also made my hubby a new touque (winter hat to the non Canadians), my mother a scarf/wrap, and myself a new pair of slippers, but have no pics of them to share.

Ooooooh Regan, I didn't know you did yarn-y crafts too! :)rolleyes: What DON'T you do...) :D I love the granny squares. Are they hard to do?

I'm working on a fall coat right now, it's this lined, sorta quilted deeep tie dyed purple coat with a hood and some appliqués of who knows what yet...

I'm also crocheting a scarf for my mum, and a hat for my bald little head. ahahaa. :D

    Oh, and some long skirts!

Mmm I love socks and arm/legwarmers. I have a friend who knits really well, I make her clothes and she knits me things. And I line my clothes with flannel and using fleece to make clothes. Since our heater died I've been making all kinds of warm clothes!

MoonJava - the pattern I used for the granny sqs was super easy (has to be, or I wouldn't be able to pull it off as numbers scare me). I can PM it to you if you like?

I'm learning how to knit. Hopefully I will be good enough to make a nice beanie or scarf by winter. I've been sewing and I plan on sewing even more as the weather outside pushes me in. I'm planning on doing a bunch of Halloween crafts--like a Haunted Gingerbread House, for example (Mmmm!). And we grew some great birdhouse gourds that I will be drying and making some fall crafts out of, maybe even a mate gourd. Lots of baking of course, too. That's probably my favorite thing.
Man I love this time of year. :D

    Wow! Granny squares are great!

Ursula, I like the scraf you are making. I was thinking about making one for my boyfriend last winter, but instead of that I bought him one. [IMG]
